Emmys 2020: Outstanding Limited Series — Our 5 Dream Nominees!

Emmys 2020

Ever since breaking off into its own category in 2014, Emmy’s Outstanding Limited Series category has basically been a two-way contest between HBO and FX. And this year is no exception, with FX’s Mrs. America and HBO’s Watchmen widely viewed as the co-frontrunners to take home the top prize.

Both acclaimed minis certainly deserve to be in the running, as evidenced by their inclusion in our Dream Emmy short list. And if we have anything to say about it, their competition will be, in a word, formidable.

Check out the attached gallery — or click here for direct access — to review all five of our Dream Nominees (remember, these aren’t predictions; they’re wish lists) and then tell us if our picks warrant a “Hell, yes!,” “Um, no” or “How could you leave off so-and-so?!”

For the record, 2020 Emmy nominations will be voted on from July 2-13, and unveiled on July 28. The 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony is scheduled to air (in some form!) on Sunday, Sept. 20 on ABC.
