But the show was cancelled after star Roseanne Barr tweeted a racist "joke" and has since been redeveloped as The Conners, a spinoff that centers on the rest of the Conner family sans Barr. (Season 1 of The Conners ended January 2019; not yet renewed for Season 2 at ABC.)
