SpongeBob SquarePants Prequel 'Kamp Koral'

On TV this Thursday: Paramount+ launches with (stop us if you’ve heard this one before) a Mountain of Entertainment (including a Real World reunion and a SpongeBob movie); and two more midseason ABC game shows end their runs. Here are 11 programs to keep on your radar; all times are Eastern.

    Series premiere: This extension of the long-running newsmagazine features correspondents Enrique Acevedo, Seth Doane, Wes Lowery and Laurie Segall.

    Series premiere: Blending comedy and true crime, the Funny or Die production follows the search for Harold Heaven, who in 1934 mysteriously disappeared from his remote cabin in Ontario, Canada.

    Film premiere: SpongeBob and Patrick journey to Atlantic City to save Gary, who has been snail-napped by King Poseidon. (Read preview.)

    Series premiere (first six episodes): The CG-animated prequel, which is first established in Sponge on the Run (above), follows wee SpongeBob and friends to summer camp. (Season 2 of Stephen Colbert’s Tooning Out the News also launches today.)

    The Real World Homecoming: New York

    Pacific Rim: The Black

    Series premiere: In the anime-style offshoot, two siblings encounter new creatures and chance allies amid the search for their M.I.A. ‘rents.

    Season 1 finale: Rachael Leigh Cook, Sherri Shepard and Kevin Nealon go for a spin. (The Chase’s finale, consisting of back-to-back episodes, follows at 9.)
