As the television industry at last begins inching toward a resumption of production, we are, ironically, looking back — specifically at Season 16 of Grey's Anatomy — and diagnosing that burning sensation we've been feeling as questions in need of answering in Season 17.

So far, so... well, amazing. Winston is charming, handsome and so into his former boss that he's willing to uproot his life and move to Seattle to turn his years-long crush into a real relationship. So what's the catch? There's got to be one, right? Please don't let it be that, post-Jackson, Maggie's too gun-shy to give Winston a chance.

Who Is Meredith's Endgame?

Not that she needs one, of course. But we've been invested in Grey's love life since 2005; if she's going to have not just another love after Derek but another great love, we want to know whether it's troubled DeLuca or Cristina-approved Cormac, the peds surgeon who gets hearts in his eyes anytime he gazes in Mer's direction.

What Happened to Cindy?

DeLuca put his mania on full display, so convinced was he that his teenage patient was a victim of human trafficking. But her "aunt" Opal managed to hustle her out of Grey Sloan before Bailey learned that Andrew wasn't just adamant, he was also right. So Season 17 not only needs to vindicate him, it needs to save Cindy — or at least reveal her fate.
