Ratings: Scandal Ends Season on Low Note, Supernatural Hits 6-Week High

Scandal wrapped its penultimate season on Thursday night with an average of 5.2 million total viewers and a 1.2 rating (per finals) across its two-hour finale, adding a few eyeballs week-to-week but slipping two tenths to match its all-time demo low.

TVLine readers gave the eventful closer an average grade of “B.”

Opening ABC’s night, Grey’s Anatomy (7.9 mil/2.0, reader grade “B”) ticked up with its own finale to 8- and 6-week highs.

Over on NBC, Wednesday-bound The Blacklist did 4.9 mil/0.9 and another 4.9 mil/0.9, up a tenth in both cases and with its finale drawing its best audience since Feb. 23. Readers gave the finale an “A-.”

The CW’s Supernatural averaged 1.7 mil/0.6 across its two hours, up a tenth to a 6-week high. Average reader grade: “B+.”

Fox’s MasterChef Junior did 3.4 mil/0.9 and 3.7 mil/1.0, steady week-to-week…. CBS’ double pump of The Amazing Race did 4.4 mil/0.9 (steady week-to-week) and then 3.9 mil/0.8.
