Where did the time go?
The final season of MTV’s Snooki & Jwoww — premiering Wednesday at 10/9c — finds former party girls Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Jenni “Jwoww” Farley pregnant (No. 2 for Polizzi!) and looking toward their families’ futures.
Speaking of which, both ladies know the time will come when their children will learn of their past lives on Jersey Shore — but how will they break it to them gently? Short answer: They probably won’t get the chance.
“It’s going to be like a Santa Claus thing,” Farley tells TVLine. “Some little a—hole kid is going to tell my kid he’s not real before I do. Then, ‘Oh, by the way, your mom was a crazy b—h on TV.'”
Polizzi shares in her friend’s concerns. “I can hear it now,” she says. “‘Your mom was a slut! It’s on YouTube!’ Lorenzo’s going have to kick everyone’s asses and tell them, ‘No, she was just young and having fun!'”
For now, let’s just focus on Snooki & Jwoww‘s final season, which the ladies happily tease below:
LABOR PAINS | “You pretty much see my delivery in real time,” Farley warns. “It was rapid delivery, very unexpected. So you hear me scream, then in less than a minute, she’s out.” Polizzi, on the other hand, remembers the situation a bit differently: “She sounded like a dying hyena.” And Farley can’t even deny it, admitting, “I did sound like I was getting stabbed.” As for Polizzi’s labor, she recalls it being “pretty awful” at first, but once she got the epidural, “it was party time.”
OLD FRIENDS | The girls aren’t hosting a full-on Jersey Shore reunion in their final season, but fans can expect to see at least one familiar face pop up in the coming weeks: Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola! “Sam came to my baby shower,” Polizzi recalls, “and she’s coming to my bachelorette party, which hasn’t even happened yet.” (That’s right, people, they’re still filming.) Farley also says Giancola visited her in the hospital after she gave birth.
NO REGRETS | Unlike their days at the Shore, the ladies will be toning down the shenanigans a bit this season — especially as far as their outfits are concerned. “We thought we looked so hot, but we were such greaseballs,” Polizzi recalls fondly. Adds Farley, “It was pretty gross and embarrassing, like a bad photo album from college.”
MORE TO COME | Don’t take the “final” part of “final season” too literally; both Polizzi and Farley have big plans for the small screen — they just won’t include so many other people. “This is it for our families,” Polizzi explains. “It’s so stressful filming with kids. I don’t have a plan right now, but I love hosting and I love reality TV, so we’ll see.” Farley, meanwhile, is eyeing a career adjacent to the spotlight. “I’m currently in the process of selling a show to another network as an executive producer,” she explains. “My dream is to be behind the camera, selling shows.”
