7 pm Lab Rats (Disney XD) | The Lab Rats go on a rescue mission to save Dr. Evans (ER alum/Falling Skies star Noah Wyle) and travel to Davenport’s secret facility in the frozen tundra.
8 pm Almost Human (Fox) | An old cop friend of Kennex’s goes undercover, posing as a cook of a highly addictive street drug called “The Bends.” (Am I the only one morbidly curious about how that drug got its name?)
8 pm A Charlie Brown Christmas (ABC) | “Let’s face it. We all know that Christmas is a big commercial racket. It’s run by a big Eastern syndicate, you know.”
8 pm How I Met Your Mother (CBS) | Barney becomes fixated on having his rehearsal dinner at a laser tag arena, much to Robin’s dismay. (Get scoop on the upcoming Episode 200.)
8:30 pm 2 Broke Girls (CBS) | Caroline attends her former nanny’s funeral, thinking the family will be honored to have her, but quickly finds out they have no idea who she is.
9 pm CMA Country Christmas (ABC) | Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles hosts the holiday music celebration, with guests including Kellie Pickler, Rascal Flatts, Darius Rucker and Sheryl Crow.
9 pm The Battle of amfAR (HBO) | This documentary examines the influence of amfAR, America’s first AIDs research foundation, which was founded by Elizabeth Taylor and research scientist Dr. Mathilde Krim at the height of the AIDS epidemic.
9 pm Major Crimes (TNT) | The squad is called in to track down a newly released prisoner who has missed two parole meetings.
10 pm Hostages (CBS) | Duncan locks the Sanders family in a room for the day while he and his team eliminate the snipers targeting President Kincaid. (Let’s hope there’s at least access to a bathroom…)
10 pm The Blacklist (NBC) | Fall finale: The fate of Ressler hangs in the balance as Red tries to bargain with Anslo Garrick.
10:30 pm Rick and Morty (Adult Swim) | Series premiere: Co-created by Community‘s Dan Harmon, this animated series follows Rick (voiced by Justin Roiland, Fish Hooks) as he moves in with his daughter’s family and establishes himself as a bad influence on his grandson Morty (also voiced by Roiland).
