8 pm 2013 Breeder’s Cup (NBC) | The two-day racing event continues from Arcadia, Calif.

8 pm The Preacher’s Mistress (Lifetime) | Sarah Lancaster (Chuck) stars in this telepic as a struggling single mother who unwittingly falls for a married preacher (Friday Night Lights‘ Ed Waters) — and then in true Lifetime fashion, things get much, much worse.

8 pm The Thanksgiving House (Hallmark) | A Boston lawyer (Haven‘s Emily Rose) inherits a house in Plymouth, then learns from a local historian (Justin Bruening) that it may be the site of the first Thanksgiving.

11 pm Animation Domination Hi-Def (Fox) | Fall premiere: After Axe Cop has killed all the bad guys, he and his team must find new jobs. Then, High School USA! is about to lose all of its funding unless the gang can get test scores up.

PHOTOS | Once Upon a Time‘s Ariel Makes a Splash

8 pm The Simpsons (Fox) | Four Springfielders try to right past regrets following the funeral of a beloved neighbor. Plus, MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow and football star Joe Namath guest-voice.

8:30 pm The Amazing Race (CBS) | An intense dispute breaks out at the mat, which I can only assume is about the offensive nickname given to Leo and Jamal. (“Afghanimals”? Really?!)

PREVIEW | The Good Wife EPs on ‘Unbound’ Will, Kalinda’s Loyalties and Alicia’s Breakdown

9 pm Drop Dead Diva (Lifetime) | Season finale: Grayson and Jane finally reveal their feelings for each other, but they’re interrupted by someone who threatens to reveal Jane’s secret. Plus, Grayson represents a dominatrix played by Lost’s Rebecca Mader. (Get scoop.) (Yep, renewed.)

9 pm Boardwalk Empire (HBO) | Nucky refuses to back Chalky in his conflict with Narcisse.

9 pm Revenge (ABC) | Emily does something very uncharacteristic when important people in her life start turning on her. (My guess: She wears something completely unfashionable.)

9 pm Homeland (Showtime) | As Carrie turns the tables, Saul tries to keep an intrusive senator at bay.

9 pm The Walking Dead (AMC) | The supply mission faces hurdles, and the situation at the prison worsens.

  8. xomareen says:

SNL and Walking Dead for me.
I will be overjoyed if Taran does his Eminem impression.

  9. I agree that “Afghanimals” is one of the more offensive nicknames for a team that the show has ever had, though from what I can tell, Leo and Jamal gave it to themselves, rather than having it thrust on them by a producer.

  10. Maryann says:

    SAT
Dancing on the Edge (Starz – Nazis, murder mystery, black Jazz band, romance)
    SUN
    Once Upon a Time (LIVE)
    Revenge (LIVE)
    Betrayal
    The Mentalist (LIVE)
    Witches of East End

  11. Marie says:

Sorry – I keep asking – Anymore information on Body of Proof?

  12. Elaine Williams says:

Yeah. DDD renewed. Thank goodness Lifetime saw the light. Does this mean no finale in January for army wives?

  13. Et al says:

Sundays @ 9 are insane. No wonder poor Revenge is down in the ratings.

  14. charlotte says:

I’ll be catching up on my Hulu viewing this weekend – definitely Grimm so nothing “live.” Definitely looking forward to watching Witches of EE though. Other than that, waiting till Sleepy Hollow returns!

  15. ollie says:

    Ouat revenge

  16. Steven says:

Revenge, The Good Wife, Drop Dead Diva,, The Walking Dead, Witches of East End. My god Sundays are busy.

  17. Hmmmm says:

Wait – the DDD season finale synopsis says that Jane and Grayson reveal their feelings for each other, but are interrupted. No! That has never happened in this show ever. I like the show, but its time for a new version of the Jane and Grayson story.

  18. Susan says:

The Mentalist, I’ve been waiting patiently all week for the next episode!

  19. MariaD says:

“Once” ’cause nothing else at 8 that catches my interest.

Then on to the good stuff: The Good Wife, Homeland and Masters of Sex (last week’s episode was outstanding!).

    • JoyAnne says:

If the latest new online is true that this show has been pre emptied for a repeat because go Football CBS will hear me using language I have never used. What the heck are they doing to our show? Can you hear me screaming #%€}%#}{€

  20. Ali says:

Okay, this is disappointing. The Mentalist is a repeat, but says that it’s a new episode.

  21. Mary Ann says:

Why was The Mentalist a rerun last night? What happened?

    • Sarah says:

Yes Mary Ann! It was an episode from 2012 and they still showed the preview for the next new episode after! Not happy! What happened?!?!?!

      • Mary Ann says:

And they showed what Red John suspects were left in the preview for next week, and I have no idea how the others were eliminated!

        • Bill says:

Just found out cbs decided to air a repeat last minute due to football ending so late. Last nights episode will be pushed back a week. So frustrating. CBS didn’t make any announcement or anything

  22. Bill says:

What happened to the Mentalist? That was a repeat. Grrrrrrr
