What to Watch Tonight: Archer, Anger and Other Premieres, Haven Finale, Oprah Vs. Lance & More

Archer Season 4 premiereOn TV this Thursday: Another Archer season draws nigh, Suits presses on, Anger Management kicks off its non-stop two-year run and a FX’s new sitcom is Legit. Meanwhile, Haven and Project Runway All Stars wrap and Oprah’s got Lance Armstrong caught in the spokes. 8 pm Haven (Syfy) | Season 3 finale: In the first of this run’s last two episodes, Audrey, Nathan and Duke try to stop a killer from crashing a high school reunion. Then, in the season finale, the trio prepare to do battle with the Bolt Gun Killer. (Have no fear – the series has been renewed.) Read preview from Very Important Guest Star Laura Vandervoort.

8 pm Last Resort (ABC) | In the series’ penultimate episode, Kylie works with Admiral Shepard and uses evidence of what really happened in Pakistan to bring down the President – affording Marcus an opportunity to surrender the Colorado… if everything goes according to plan.

9 pm Anger Management (FX) | Season 2 premiere: Charlie Sheen’s Energizer Bunny of a sitcom returns with back-to-back episodes, the first of a near-uninterrupted 90-week (!) run. First, Charlie has a meltdown at his sister’s baby shower. Then, he suspects dad Martin (new series regular Martin Sheen) may be developing Alzheimer’s.

9 pm The Office (NBC) | Dwight and Clark pose as father and son to make a sale; Darryl interviews with Jim’s new company.

9 pm Project Runway All Stars (Lifetime) | Season finale: The final three designers get four days, 90 minutes at Mood and the help of previously eliminated competitors to complete a mini collection. Liv Tyler (Armageddon) and designer Margherita Missoni guest-judge. (Runway Season 11 premieres next Thursday, minus Michael Kors.)

10 pm Suits (USA) | Midseason premiere: Pearson Hardman’s civil war may be over, but the tough times are nowhere near done. (Read what EP Aaron Korsh said about what’s ahead.)

10 pm King of the Nerds (TBS) | Series premiere: In this new reality show, a pack of Poindexters move in together and compete in Nerd Wars, the losers of which are banished from the house forever. George Takei and “Jay and Silent Bob” are among the judges. (Watch trailer.)

10 pm Archer (FX) | Season 4 premiere: Archer has amnesia and decides the only cure is a spa weekend.

10:30 pm Legit (FX) | Series premiere: Australian comedian Jim Jefferies plays a heightened version of himself trying to create a stand-up comedy career in Los Angeles. Dan Bakkedahl (Community, The United States of Tara) and DJ Qualls (Memphis Beat) play his pals.

    I have already seen the Haven 2-part finale. It has been online since the beginning of the new year. It was interesting, wonder when season 4 will debut. Oct?

    • The decision was made to move the finale to today due to the Sandy Hook tragedy. If it was on tomorrow, it would have gone head to head with the two hour Fringe finale.
