Ratings: Scandal Falls Shy of New High, Glee Dips, Vampire Diaries and Beast Tick Up
The NFL-adjusted finals are in, and ABC’s Scandal this Thursday night wound up drawing 7.14 million total viewers while scoring a 2.4 demo rating, dipping four percent and a tenth from last week’s series high.
On CBS, per finals: The Big Bang Theory (16.8 mil/5.4) and Elementary (10.6 mil/2.3) rose two tenths in the demo, Two and a Half Men (13.6 mil/4.1) ticked up one tenth and Person of Interest (14.3 mil/2.9) was flat.
Elsewhere on the night:
* Per finals, Last Resort‘s fall finale (there are three episodes left to air) opened ABC’s night with 5.5 mil and a 1.0, down two tenths. Grey’s Anatomy (8.8 mil/2.9) ticked down a tenth in the demo.
* The final two single-camera, pre-extended hiatus episodes of NBC’s Up All Night averaged 2.75 mil/1.0, down two tenths week-to-week. (And the first half-hour hit a series-low 0.9.) Howie Mandel’s Take It All (3.9 mil/1.2) rose some from its Wednesday outing.
* Fox’s The X Factor (7.7 mil/2.4) dipped a tenth week-to-week, while Glee (5.3 mil/2.0) slipped two tenths.
* The CW’s Vampire Diaries (2.74 mil/1.3) rose 13 and 9 percent, while Beauty and the Beast (1.6 mil/0.6) enjoyed gains of 14 and 20 percent.
