  • didn’t scandal get a 2.5 last week? anyway, ABC was pre-empted for football in philly last night. so these numbers could very likely adjust downward. but even then, they’ll still be above the 1.9-2.0 demo norm for the show so HOORAY! other networks could learn from ABC on how you nurture a show.

    • “other networks could learn from ABC on how you nurture a show.”

LOL! Yet plenty of people will still whine about Last Resort, GCB, 666 Park Avenue, Missing, and scads of other shows that lasted less than one season.

      Networks owe viewers nothing anyway.

    • Getting a .6 out of a 1.3 lead-in is by no stretch of the imagination “great news.” It stinks! Keep things realistic here.

      • Keep things realistic? Sure…it’s higher than last week so yes that’s good news. Bad is it went down again. Is it pulling Arrow’s numbers…no. But week to week there was an improvement. That IS realistic. Happy now? Or ever?

  • Scandal is one of the best shows on TV, if you aren’t watching it, you really are missing out. Also goes to show how the power of social media works, the stars have been promoting like crazy, the writing is second to none and the storylines only continue to get, for lack of a better phrase, more scandalous! I’ve been recommending this show to anyone who’ll listen, so great to see their ratings doing well.

  • Scandal dipped in number because the fourth largest market in the US — Philadelphia –PRE-EMPTED IT for a crappy, *losing* Eagles game.
