Scoop: Body of Proof Books Sarah Jane Morris

Sarah Jane MorrisSarah Jane Morris will encounter not-so-friendly skies when she guest-stars on ABC’s Body of Proof.

TVLine has learned that the NCIS and Brothers & Sisters alum has landed the role of Pamela Jacks, a flight attendant who figures prominently in the wake of an airline tragedy, in the 12th episode of Body of Proof‘s upcoming Season 3.

Since Brothers & Sisters wrapped its run, Morris has recurred as Agent E.J. Barrett on TV’s most watched drama, NCIS, and guested on Castle.

Body of Proof — which this season adds Mark Valley (Human Target) to its cast while subtracting others — launches its third season on Tuesday, Feb. 5 at 10/9c (after Private Practice signs off for good). Other guest stars on tap include Annie Wersching (24) in a season-opening arc, Henry Ian Cusick (Lost), Richard Burgi (Desperate Housewives), Tim DeKay (White Collar), Michael Nouri (NCIS), Ivan Sergei (Crossing Jordan) and Ray Wise (Twin Peaks).

In related news, I just booked my flight to the winter Television Critics Association press tour on whatever airline boasts the prettiness of Sarah Jane Morris among its cabin crew.

  • I totally forgot they renewed this show. I predict 1.0s in the demo.

    • Actually, this show was getting higher ratings in the Tuesday slot than Private Practice. Thanks for playing, though!

  • Hope when it comes back that all the changes do not affect the show too much.

  • So, are the killing off Peter or will he survive and quit the police force and move to some far away place? We know the actor playing him will not be back
