What to Watch: The TVLine-Up for Tuesday

On TV this Tuesday: NCIS‘ “Tiva” makes tracks for Italy, The Biggest Loser crowns its 13th winner, Billy Ray Cyrus heads to 90210, New Girl braves a battle of the exes and more. In addition to TVLine’s original features (linked within), here are eight programs to keep on your radar.

8 pm The Biggest Loser (NBC) | On the Season 13 finale, the smallest winner will be crowned — and given $250K. Previously eliminated contestants will also compete for the $100K “at home” prize.

8 pm NCIS (CBS) | The investigation into a fire on a Navy vessel reveals evidence that elevates security at all facilities worldwide and prompts DiNozzo and Ziva to travel to Italy. (That’s amore…?)  V‘s Joel Gretsch guest-stars.

8 pm 90210 (The CW) | Navid suspects that Liam and Silver hooked up so he decides to confront Liam on the red carpet of a movie premiere. Elsewhere, Annie and Caleb give into temptation, Naomi knows a groom better than his heiress fiancée does and Austin enlists his dad — played by Billy Ray Cyrus, of course! — to help launch Adrianna’s country career.

8:30 pm Cougar Town (ABC) | The baby mama drama escalates when Jules finds out that Holly made out with Travis; Andy wants to run for mayor so he can change the rule against beach weddings for Jules, but Ellie won’t allow it.

9 pm The L.A. Complex (The CW) | Abby is given the chance to make some big cash as long as she’s willing to “play the part” — perhaps taking a cue from The Client List? — while Alicia tries to use the arm of a D-list actor (played by Aaron Abrams, Rookie Blue) to score auditions.

9 pm New Girl (Fox) | The gang fears Jess and Nick will relapse into past relationships when they run into their exes (Justin Long and Mary Elizabeth Ellis, respectively); Schmidt distracts himself from a painful below-the-belt issue by meeting Cece’s grandmother.

10 pm Secrets of Bin Laden’s Lair (Discovery) | On the eve of the anniversary of the terrorist’s capture and death, this special, narrated by NBC News’ Harry Smith, promises new details gleaned from the classified intel seized during Operation Neptune Spear.

10 pm Unforgettable (CBS) | In the season’s penultimate episode, Carrie races against the clock to find her nemesis Walter Morgan’s killer while deflecting attention from the prime suspect – her.

  • NCIS and Private Practice. BTW Matt loved your “that’s amore?” addition. As a hopeless shipper my answer is “yes”. I love to seem them undercover in uniforms, but I am also highly intrigued by this new threat and the terrorism stuff.

  • ‘NCIS’ and ‘New Girl’ only for me tonight. As for “that’s amore” re: Tiva, we wish! Oh well, they look nice together there in their under cover uniforms at least-so there’s that. Thanks for the update, Alyse. :)

  • I think next year ABC should put Cougar Town, Happy Endings and Don’t Trust the B on Tuesday nights and move Last Man Standing to Wednesdays. Those shows would go together really well and Tuesday nights are kind of blah right now, with only CT on. I like LMS but it doesn’t go well with CT.
