MONDAY, MAY 8

8 pm JEOPARDY MASTERS! series premiere
ABC has released its summer schedule, which includes a new Jeopardy! spinoff and the delayed second season of the Wonder Years reboot.
It all kicks off on Monday, May 8, with the launch of Jeopardy! Masters, a Ken Jennings-hosted, three-week event that will see the six highest-ranked, current Jeopardy! contestants face off in a Champions League-style tournament. (To find out which six players made the cut, click here.)
Its May 24 finale will lead into the new unscripted comedy series The Prank Panel, featuring panelists Johnny Knoxville, Eric Andre and Gabourey Sidibe.
Meanwhile, The Wonder Years — which aired its Season 1 finale last May — will not return for Season 2 until Wednesday, June 14. But it is getting a supersized, one-hour premiere! New episodes will lead out of Judge Steve Harvey.
The Bachelorette Season 20 will also arrive in June, fronted by recent Bachelor hopeful Charity Lawson. Additional returning faves include The $100,000 Pyramid, Celebrity Family Feud, The Chase, Generation Gap and Press Your Luck.
(The fates of previous summertime staples Holey Moley and To Tell the Truth remain up in the air; the Janelle James-hosted Final Straw has been cancelled.)
ABC’s summer roster comes one day after the network revealed finale dates for 13 in-season shows, including Abbott Elementary, The Conners and Grey’s Anatomy — find those here.

so what’s going with To Tell The Truth? did it quietly get cancelled?
Was wondering the same thing…
TVLine keeps no secrets! The latest intel is here: https://tvline.com/lists/abc-renewed-cancelled-game-shows-celebrity-family-feud/
oh…well I hope it does come back though
I don’t think so. ABC is probably still in negotiations about that.
To tell the truth’s future is now iffy…
No Holey Moley!????
I guess Holey Moley got quietly canceled ⛳️🏌♂️🏌♀️
So did the last straw airing it at 9pm on Sunday nights didn’t help it.
Putting the Prank Panel on Sunday at 8 pm hopefully won’t the ratings to Celebrity Family Fued and 100,000 Pyramid.
Holey Moley is coming back, the question is just when. It had a casting page that was definitely for the current season which mentioned having valid passport for Feb/March 2023, so it’s probably been filming (word is they went to Australia). I noticed that there’s nothing for Tuesdays after Steve Harvey moves to Wednesdays… I assume there are some NBA games in June, so perhaps it is premiering later this year. Or maybe it’ll be one of their shows for Sundays in fall or something this year. I have not seen any casting announcements for The Final Straw though.
Holey Moley seasons 3 and 4 were approved together back in 2021. I do think (or hope) it comes back as its ratings started to drop a bit I think but I think it is still strong enough for a fifth season. Of course there could be cast availability and other factors to consider.
Final Straw just got cancelled
Says this right in the article:
The fates of previous summertime staples Holey Moley and To Tell the Truth remain up in the air; the Janelle James-hosted Final Straw has been cancelled.
They better come back – they have a fun opportunity to call the fifth season Cinco De Moley! (My kid’s suggestion) It’s the best game show they have, so I hope it returns.
I agree! It is the best game show!
Yeah that’s totally surprising that it wasn’t mentioned.
I don’t normally watch game shows during prime time or anytime to be honest, but I may need to tune in for some Jeopardy Masters
Most of these fit the typical pattern of scheduling game shows, reality shows and other inexpensive content in the summer. The fact that they’re also running new episodes of “The Wonder Years” doesn’t bode well for their confidence in it.
ABC is trying something new with summer comedies and it sadly won’t work. Should have kept the Wonder Years on the Fall Schedule
yay glad Generation Gap is coming back :) that show is fun
Yeah as it was fun
Happy to see Ken is hosting the Masters. I’ll be skipping anything involving Mayim.
The Wonder Years should have been on the fall schedule on Wednesday nights after Abbott Elementary instead of those bad comedies Home Economics and Not Dead Yet.
Yes, absolutely!!
I have never heard anyone trash Home Enconmics before, shoot I thought almost everyone liked that show. Lol.
Yeah right. Home Economics is lousy. And you couldn’t even spell it right.
I like that show. You’re not the only one Max.
Yeah Michael you’re exactly right!
Missing from the schedule is Holey Moley, The Final Straw and To Tell the Truth
Uh, Davin the final straw has already been cancelled.
No word on either holey moley or to tell the truth.
The article was updated after initially being published. Originally it did saw that The Final Straw was also missing because they had not confirmed it was cancelled yet. That’s why some of the earlier comments are mentioning Final Straw uncertainty.
Well I know I won’t be watching much ABC tv this summer. NONE of these shows interest me or my family & friends!
Opinion tolerated.
I’m surprised they’re putting on Claim to Fame before The Bachelorette. I wonder if airing earlier will help it or if the lack of a lead-in will hurt it.
I was surprised by that too, and wondered if we could see a schedule shake-up that has the other Bachelor shows doing similar.
Didn’t realize generation gap was renewed. I’ll watch that press your luck and pyramid. I’m guessing that the final straw was canceled?
I thought Blossom was hosting the ABC primetime Jeopardy specials. Methinks they’re easing her out.
Nope. She’s not going anywhere. Which is great because unlike a lot of people, she’s doing a terrific job as host. Plus, she’s returning to regular Jeopardy May 1st so they’re having Ken Jennings do the Jeopardy Masters.
Yep. And if Celebrity Jeopardy! returns, which I think is likely, I believe she’ll again host that.
She is EXCELLENT as the Jeopardy host. Glad I’m not the only one who thinks so. She’s easier to hear than Jennings, for one thing.
Agreed! Love her, great job she’s doing.
I thought the wonder years was cancelled forgot about it.
Last season there was a Press Your Luck and Generation Gap that got preempted and never aired… are those just being rolled into the new seasons?
Most likely so.
Yes I believe they mentioned that if one or both got renewed that those pre-emoted episodes would air in there next season’s run
Wonder why Wonder Years was pushed to summer. Season 1 was good. Show could have helped beef up primetime this winter.
Well I loved season 1 of The Wonder Years but I don’t have high hopes for at third season renewal since they held the show’s second season all the way to June…a full year after the season 1 finale.
Wish they show the preemepted episode of press your luck “it’s nacho night” episode when the queen died last September. They never showed that episode.
Well they will most likely air it in the new season this summer.
ABC totally disrespected The Wonder Years!!
Oh Mimi I understand that.
Literally the only scripted original on the summer schedule. 🤦🏼♂️
The Wonder Years is a summer burn off
Talk about pablum tv.
Where is supermarket sweep and who wants to be a millionaire coming on abc
Well Roy unfortunately those shows were shelved indefinitely since last year. Unclear if they’ll ever return.
Supermarket cancelled
Nothing interests me. At least there are other channels to check out. Thanks for the list !
Waited a long time for return of Wonder Years, now let’s hear about renewing this show for a 3rd season. Also put DWTS back on ABC. Looking forward to Julianne H. As new host
what will be the end game on generation gap be ? they have to change it or parents could smarten up the kids before hand
What did The Wonder Years do to receive such shabby treatment from ABC?
Fred Savage scandal…
