24 Legacy Chloe

24: Legacy EPs Hint at a Role for Chloe in Season 1: 'We Have Plans'

Enough about a possible Jack Bauer cameo. What we really want to know is if 24: Legacy will carve out a few minutes for Chloe?

“We have plans,” executive producer Evan Katz told TVLine in the below video when asked point-blank about Mary Lynn Rajskub‘s beloved tech goddess possibly making an appearance in the forthcoming Fox reboot. “Right now, our clear priority is [establishing] these new characters, and have the audience build a relationship with them. But we have some surprises planned.”

24: Legacy centers on a former Army Ranger (played by The Walking Dead‘s Corey Hawkins) who, upon returning to the U.S., turns to the CTU for help in saving his life. “The premise of the season is based on a real story about the guys who took out Osama bin Laden,” explains fellow EP Manny Coto. “It struck us as a fascinating [introduction] for a character who participated in a huge mission to take out a terrorist leader and then had to go back to his normal life. And then what would happen if [someone] started killing off the members of his team one by one? He’s the one who realizes this and goes on a large quest to find out why this is happening.

“It was a way to start fresh [with a] brand new character — a character that is not Jack Bauer,” Coto adds. “Jack Bauer was a seasoned agent. This character is not. This character is soldier who is not used to this world of espionage.”

24: Legacy will debut after Super Bowl 51 on Sunday, Feb. 5, before settling into its regular Monday-at-8 pm time slot the following night.

This is the best news I have heard in a long time!! Cannot wait for the new 24 and to possibly see Chloe on TV again!!!! Now, if only the producers can find some time for Tony!!

  2. Luis says:

It’s not “24” without Potato Face

  3. jimmy says:

I honestly would be okay with no Jack if we still got Chloe.

  4. Cez says:

“in the forthcoming Fox reboot.” what reboot? 24: Legacy is NOT a reboot!

  5. Kevin K says:

Wonder if the new 24 is going to focus on the new characters and maybe just maybe the possibility of returning characters like Jack Bauer and Chloe O’Brian. Zero chance of bringing back Tony Almeida?

No Jack No 24, No Chloe, No Tony, how can you call this “24”. No way this show even comes close! Nothing will ever get close to the original awesome, outstanding, unique, terrifying, exciting, electricifying, dynamic, nail-biting, edge of seat TV series like this show, storylines and the magnificent actors and actresses it had. I guess you can tell it was and still is my favorite show. Although, I did enjoy Prison Break and Breaking Bad.

  7. Ron says:

    Chloe!!!!! Yes

  8. Silvia Penacho Chafrias says:

I will only watch if they bring Chloe back.

  9. Germaine says:

Not 24 without jack bauer. Wont even come close to being as good, even with chloe in it. No jack no thanks.

  10. James Ronald Pannozzi says:

Chloe was completely miscast as a Goth and the plot line which removed her husband and son was a major blunder, killing off not only the characters but the family interest and new viewers that might have been drawn in by the drama/comedy of her relationship. She is brilliant and should be back in a more normal role, perhaps with a new romantic interest such as her brief and hastily expelled co-worker paramour in “24” when she was separated from her husband.

As with the original “24” the plot must center around the private life an adventures of a single character, then bring in the other characters and their interactions. Chloe being kidnapped by terrorists who hold her for ransom is an idea, with her using her technical cleverness to escape.

I would love to see Jack’s character on Designated Survivor do some hands on work for CTU!

  12. Maria says:

I must be the only 24 fan in the world who doesn’t really care for the character of Chloe. I just don’t get the appeal, I guess.
Oh well…im not watching “24” without Jack Bauer. The way they left his character to rot in a Russian prison was just so anti-climactic anyway.

    • Mitash says:

Cannot agree more.. need Jack. If you are anyway giving a break .and returning… in case if ever there was a fatigue… and you have a riveting storyline .. audience will lap it up with Jack

  13. Sheyrl says:

Would love to see Chloe on the show permanently also make some room for Tony also. Gonna miss Jack though, can’t you find a way to rescue him from Russia?

  14. Steve says:

I think die hard 24 fans need links to the past to spur interest the future of the 24 franchise. Having Chloe or anyone else from previous seasons would go a long way to meet this need.

  15. Eran says:

I totally thought that was Rachel Griffiths in the photo!

  16. Jerry says:

24 without jack won’t be 24 sorry about that
