Containment Sneak Peek: Jake and Katie's Musical Date Gets Cut Short

Containment shifts its focus from the viral outbreak tonight (The CW, 9/8c) for a musical interlude — but it’s not long before things get deadly serious again.

After last week’s creepy-hot kiss, it’s back to swoon-worthy romance for Jake and Katie in this exclusive video. The pair attempt to have a date at the hospital, complete with a song from the schoolteacher that makes the cop’s face go all moony. (Seriously, if he were a cartoon character, there would be little hearts above his head and a thought bubble that says, “I’m so crazy about you.”)

Unfortunately, the lovey-dovey moment is interrupted by Katie’s son running in to deliver some bad news.

Elsewhere in the episode, “as tensions reach a fever pitch inside the cordon, mobs of angry protestors take to the streets in an attempt to break free,” reads the official description. “Meanwhile, stuck in isolation and cut off from their chain of command, Lex and Dr. Lommers have no choice but to stand by helplessly as the cordon erupts into mass chaos. With Lex nowhere to be found, Leo moves forward with their investigation, inching one step closer to uncovering the person responsible for the outbreak.”

I almost forgot about this show. Don’t really have a desire to catch up either. Meh I’ll check it out eventually, but it’s the same thing every week.

  2. Bwhit says:

This is the only show I’ve ever watched knowing it is already cancelled because I like it that much.

We get it in Canada on Monday nights too. Was good episode last night.

  4. Well at least we know from this episode is how the series started. Nobody learnt anything in 13 days of the virus outbreak. You don’t touch anybody.
