Ripper Street is getting detoured again — and this time it’s permanent.
Amazon Prime confirmed Monday that the Victorian crime mystery will end after its upcoming fifth season.
To recap, the streaming service saved Ripper Street — which centers on a group of detectives trying to maintain law and order in a place once terrorized by Jack the Ripper — after it was axed by the BBC in 2013, following its second season.
Production on Season 5 is currently underway in Dublin, for a debut later this year.
