Sleepy Hollow Photos: Ichabod Assists Jenny, Courts Zoe, Sees... Abbie?!

To be clear: We’re not saying the woman with her back to the camera in the Sleepy Hollow photo above is definitely the missing Agent Abigail Mills.

We’re simply positing that, difference in hairstyle aside, that woman could be the leftenant (and honestly, we really want it to be).

Alas, things are often not what they seem on the Fox supernatural drama, so let’s focus on the other shots in this new gallery from the Feb. 12 and 19 episodes: Ichabod skulks around in the dark on some Witness-looking business with Jenny, Sophie and Daniel represent the FBI and Zoe has Crane on the brain at least two separate times.

The Feb. 12 hour — titled “Incident at Stone Manor” — also features the debut of James McDaniel (NYPD Blue) as Jenny and Abbie’s father, Ezra. Per the hour’s official synopsis: “In the quest to save Abbie, Crane and Sophie are forced to battle a supernatural force targeting the citizens of Sleepy Hollow, while Pandora and The Hidden One only grow stronger. Meanwhile, in an effort to find out what truly happened to her sister, Jenny faces an old foe: her father. Can our heroes solve their most personal case yet?”

All I wanted from this show was Abbie and Crane, for them to do what the did in season one. Be Witnesses of the APOCALYPSE with Moloch and to fight evil. That’s all. How hard was it to keep it like season one? I don’t care about Zoe or these new people. WHY? Why did they have to screw this show up so horribly?

If they kept it like season one, it would have gotten very boring by now, chasing after Moloch for three seasons. There needs to be different storylines, different demons to conquer . Did you forget that the Witnesses are supposed to go through 7 years of tribulations? Crane referred to the new danger as the “second tribulation.” As for Zoe and the “new people,” — “outside” people are important to the story. The Witnesses need “normal” people to interact with. All demon all the time isn’t healthy for anyone.

BUT, ALL DEMONS AND NO “FISH OUT OF WATER” JOCULARITY MAKES JACK A DULL SHOW!

I wanted the same formula. There could be a new big bad but their chem in season was so good. Ichabod was soulful and not the buffoon they turned him into and Abbie wasn’t completely turned off. I would not be bored sticking with that formula and furthermore that formula got big ratings.

If the writers cared about 7 years of tribulation, then why separate them in the off scenes and have Ichabod go gallivanting and have Abbie go off and go to Quantico? It was like they just walked away from being witnesses like nothing happened. Stupid. I don’t mind some outsiders, but the focus on that dimwit chick Ichabod was dating and Betsey Ross is annoying. Why do we even need Betsey really? Another add on that makes no sense and completely ignores that fact that Ichabod was married at the time.

When they focus on outside interests too much, it brings things down. I doubt evil goes on a time out anyway.

A pet peeve about this show, it annoyingly is scheduled for a minute past nine which means either Grimm or the Originals gets effected.

    • worldtraveler9 says:

Sleepy Hollow starts at 8 p.m. on Friday, it does not interfere with Grimm. I don’t know about the Originals.

Unless something seriously weird is going on, those zoe pics aren’t from ep 10 but ep 11. And from that episode’s summary it doesn’t seem like she is around for courting. Its weird how misinformation plagues this show so much.

So Abbie is missing and Ichabod is hanging out with Zoe. Not what I’ve been waiting two months for. Seriously. I just got very irritated.
