Ratings: Once, Revenge and Good Wife Tick Up, Rosemary's Baby Fails to Deliver, Fox 'Toons Dip

Ratings Rosemary's BabyPart 1 of NBC’s Rosemary’s Baby miniseries — which TVLine readers gave an average garde of “C” — failed to deliver on Sunday, mustering just 3.7 million total viewers and a 1.1 demo rating aka about on par with the most recent average of the ill-fated Believe/Crisis combo.

Over on ABC, Once Upon a Time‘s season finale drew 6.5 mil and a 2.2, ticking up a tenth week-to-week and just a tenth shy of its year-ago closer (7.3 mil/2.3). Revenge then did 4.9/1.5, up two tenths week-to-week but down some from its previous finale (6.1 mil/1.7). Read our Once recap and get scoop on Revenge’s big twists.

When you say 1/10th for OUaT, you mean 800,000 viewers. That’s a lot!

    • christeeny says:

I believe he was referring to the demo, not the number of viewers.

    • Katherine215 says:

1/10 is the demo, it’s not directly related to the decline in total viewers. The show likely lost viewers outside the 18-49 demo to account for most of the 800k loss in viewers.

  2. iMember says:

Yaaaaay REVENGEEEE! I’m so ready for season four. Now!!

  3. Carla Krae says:

Hey, NBC, bet you’re regretting not airing Believe and Crisis now, huh?

    • crog says:

Yeah and I’m sure it’ll be just as bad next week when they air the SNL thing instead

    • Britt says:

They always change the schedule and it rarely works out! You’d think they would get the picture by now.

Also anyone think The Good Wife has been a little boring for the last few weeks?

  4. Lisa says:

Of course, Rosemary’s Baby didn’t have a chance last night against the season finales. Perhaps they should do an encore of the show when it might have a chance to be viewed without the finales in the way. Needless to say, there were HUGE finales too. They never had a chance.

  5. Bronwyn says:

How gorgeous was Robin Tunney in that episode last night? Yowza, woman! And Pike looks like he might be a good kisser. He was laying some pretty good ones on her. Still rooting for Jane and Lisbon but, nice going there, Pike.
Missed OUAT last night. Heard that Swan Queen got together. And “Frozen” is now in play. Gotta catch up.

  6. Jen says:

NBC deserves such horrid ratings for bending over backwards to be PC in their casting, effectively eliminating a key element of Levin’s novel in the process.

And before everyone defends the [PC] casting of Saldana as the victim, I bet the same people of course would ignore how they made every villain Caucasian? Of course…

  7. Coal says:

Just read the above comment on Deadline. Ah well. To each his own I guess.

  8. katzen says:

Yeah. I couldn’t watch it because the local NBC channel is in a dispute with Directv. It has been a month.

  9. dj says:

Do they have any idea how many people DVR’d rosemary’s baby? It wasn’t that bad. Nothing can top the original, but it was okay.

    • Cameron says:

I couldn’t get into it. Only made it through the first hour before I gave up. I typically enjoy Saldana’s movies and I love Patrick J. Adams on Suits, but it just didn’t hold my interest.

  10. Jon says:

DVR’d Rosemary’s Baby but watched parts of it. What I did see is that Saldana came off as a whiner, did not like that.

  11. Ava says:

Both Revenge and OUAT were fabulous last night.

  12. kerisia says:

I absolutely loved Peter’s reaction to the State’s Attorney James Castro when the SAG tried to blackmail Peter with those photos of Finn leaving Alicia’s apartment. The first glass went … and then the second glass. It was hilarious.

  13. Hot Dumb Italian Mike! says:

The public isn’t stupid, they know the difference between a bad remake and a classic. Roman Polanski may have a dubious history at best. But, he did direct one of the greatest films of the 20th century……the only downside, hisv version broke up the Sinatra/ Farrow union!

  14. DavidSask says:

Revenge was great shame its ratings aren’t!

  15. mia says:

They should of saved rosemarys baby for the summer
