Girl Meets World Jane LynchJane Lynch will appear on Disney Channel’s highly anticipated Girl Meets World — but it’s unclear whether she’ll play nice or mean.

The Glee star confirmed her guest spot via Twitter.

• NBC’s American Ninja Warrior will return for Season 6 on Monday, May 26, at 8/7c. Meanwhile, America’s Got Talent is back for its ninth edition the following night, Tuesday, May 27, at 8 pm.

• At least one former Heroes star is on board with the upcoming miniseries reboot. Robert Knepper, who played carnival runner Samuel Sullivan on the NBC drama, tells that he “would love to be a part of it,” although he has yet to be approached.

• Katie Couric will grill Alec Baldwin on Law & Order: SVU‘s March 19 episode, reports our sister site Deadline. Couric will play a TV show host who questions Baldwin’s controversial New York newspaper columnist about a headline-grabbing hate crime/rape case.

• Donna Mills (Knot’s Landing) will make her first appearance on General Hospital on March 14, the actress tweeted. No details about her top-secret role are available.

The Young and the Restless has recast Cynthia Watros’ Kelly Andrews with Cady McClain (All My Children, As the World Turns) following the series pick-up of Watros’ MTV pilot Finding Carter, TV Guide Magazine reports. McClain will make her debut on April 24.

• In more Y&R-related news, the soap’s Melody Thomas Scott will guest-star CBS’ The Crazy Ones as a boozy librarian, per TV Guide Magazine.

• NBC and Clear Channel Media and Entertainment announced today that NBC will televise the first-ever iHeartRadio Music Awards May 1 (8-11 p.m. ET/PT) from the  Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

• SundanceTV’s The Writers’ Room returns for Season 2 on April 14 at 10/9c with host Jim Rash (Community). This go-around’s highlighted shows include Scandal, House of Cards, The Good Wife, Sons of Anarchy and Pretty Little Liars. Rash also will sit down with the brains behind comic-book adaptations The Walking Dead and Smallville.

    Pretty Little Liars should not even be mentioned in the same sentence as those other show. Really it is the worst written show on TV.

    Cady McClain will be great recast on Y&R, I only hope the character becomes more likeable and develops clear plot line already!!
