TVLine Items: Parks Boss Addresses Andy's New Abs, Boardwalk Empire Season 4 Trailer and More

Chris Pratt Parks and Recreation AbsSo, how exactly will Parks and Recreation address Chris Pratt‘s hot new bod in Season 6?

We floated a number of totally realistic ideas to explain Andy’s adonis-like transformation, but it seems showrunner Mike Schur has his own (admittedly much better) plan in mind.

“There is a joke that I wrote in the premiere that I think we’ll probably shoot that is a little tiny acknowledgement or nod to the fact that he looks very different to the way he normally looks,” the executive producer tells TVGuide.com. “I don’t think beyond a little joke about it that we’ll end up doing anything significant. We’re not going to suddenly say that Andy became a fitness nut because that doesn’t ring true.”

Parks and Rec premieres Sept. 26.

  1. Rob says:

Monica Potter needs to win an Emmy this year.

  2. Steven says:

I loved Diane Farr in Roswell. I’ll watch her comedy.

  3. AJ says:

Jeffrey Wright fits right into the show and I hope Michael K Williams get a bigger role this season.

  4. Jared says:

Hit the Floor has been such a Summer guilty pleasure. Happy to see VH1 renew it for a second season.

  5. Monica Potter should get Emmy nominated this week (fingers crossed).

  6. Britta Unfiltered says:

That Boardwalk Empire trailer makes me miss Gyp Rosetti. I’ve been rewatching the last season over the last week. Bobby Cannavale just shines in those episodes. I am still convinced he is walking out of that show with a supporting actor Emmy nomination. We’ll see soon if I called that one correctly…

  7. Stef says:

SO excited about BE! I kind of wish they had given some preview of what they’re doing with Margaret this season though.

  8. Jordan says:

The joke should be something about Andy watching P90x and thinking it was a game of follow the leader or Simon Says and doing it every night while April is away, never realizing that he can’t win.

  9. KevyB says:

It can’t be considered Pratt’s “new” hot bod when he went through a similar transformation for Zero Dark Thirty. Then gained it all back again. I’m sure we’ll see the “old” Andy long before the season is over.
