    Yay castle!

  2. George says:

If a show airs a series finale and nobody watches, has that series really ended?

  3. A says:

So sad for 90210. Gossip Girl did better in its series finale. #winning I just sounded like a total jerk. My apologies.

  4. tvaddict says:

Wow! It was definitely time to end 90210! Seems like the end of an era: Gossip Girl and 90210 both are gone. At least we still have Arrow, Supernatural, and Nikita!

  5. Cara says:

Hawaii 50 is a flop. Seems wooden O’Loughlin will be back to the Friday Death Slot next season. Networks should hire actors because they can act . A pretty face can never make a show work and Alex O. is proof of that. I would not consider Nathan F. a pretty actor, but the guy has talent and that makes Castle works.

    • AT says:

Are you serious? Wow. Someone has some bizarre hatred for Alex. His acting is fine.

    • Siobhan says:

Actually, the slide in H50 ratings over the last month seems to be connected to Michelle Borth (plays Catherine) and her bizarre behavior on social media. She has been searching for people who comment that they don’t like the character (these comments are not sent to Borth – she must go trolling and searching for them) and she then attacks the people who made the comments. She has cursed at them (called one a bitch) and told them to stop watching if they don’t like Cath. CBS doesn’t seem to care that one of their employees is acting like this and the ratings seem to be effected. Sad that one person’s ravings can effect what was once a great show.

      • T says:

Best joke ever! Do u realize H50 premiered this season with an already awful 1.8 demo and 8 million viewers. LOL. So that actress has nothing to do with yesterday bad numbers, The show has just been sinking since September because is boring and viewers have left.

  6. James says:

good numbers for castle. i wonder what happened to that rumor of ABC picking it up for two seasons. I guess it was just that, a rumor. oh well, good to see the demo up at any rate.

    • Squintern says:

RE: CASTLE It’s up a fraction and still below the overall seasonal rankings. There’s a reason why ABC refused a 2 season pickup–they’re unsure of how this whole proposal, ying-yang relationship thing is going to play out. The network would rather play it safe than give castle a 2 season order only see it’s numbers fall off.

i didn’t care for the episode. i didn’t like the proposal. it was too rushed. and most importantly, they’re STILL Not talking about their relaitonship.

and i’m tired of beckett being made out to be the bad guy.

      • scooby says:

The 2 season pickup rumor happened well after ABC would’ve known the deal with the finale. It’s not like they found out a couple days before. They’ve known for weeks. It could be that they want to go another year then renegotiate to extend the series 2 years to an 8th season. At this point, the actors are signed to 7 years so if they wait negotiate both for the continued existence of the show AND Nathan/Stana, etc. contracts, it’d be more leverage for the actors and more $$. This way they could try to talk about a 2 year renewal next year and if the actors are too uppity about salary, just say ‘we’re renewing the show for a 7th and final season.’ It’s also easier to get Nathan to commit to stretching to an 8th year vs. both an 8th and 9th. I think NF genuinely would walk if he thought an extension was going to diminish the show, but if Marlowe has a plan to handle an 8th year, we’d get it. In the meantime, if ABC can bolster their aging reality show franchises that always precede Castle, the demo should be fine.

Watching the pre finale of 90210 made me sad. Not because it was cancelled but because it reminded me of how good 90210 was back in the day. The finale was too rushed IMO but given the circumstances I guess I can understand

    • dude says:

I really liked the finale. It obviously wasn’t the way they intended to end it but it was a nice sendoff. The retrospective made me really sad. They all seem to really like each other and they seem like really cool people (even Annalynne. I know, I was shocked too).

  8. Rich Abey says:

Castle ratings up again as deserved. It was a heart rending finale! Nathan is certainly a pretty face but is also a fantastic talent and hardworker. Sure he carried the show in the first few seasons due to minimal publicity frm abc (a cult follwing always helps), but it has rather been a collective effort since then as they have a bunch of solid talented actors who have plenty of tv, broadway and film credits and each on their own is capable of carrying a show and have some fantastic pipes too. Jon huertas(ex-us army solider!) just released his 1st studio music album, Stana Katic(Feast of love, 24, Quantum of Solace) showed her fantastic vocals in the last liararian movie, Tamala Jones already vowed us with her voice on Castle, Seamus Dever(General Hospital), Penny Jerald(Star Trek, 24). So Castle now is anything but a one-man-show!

  9. Lena says:

Hawaii 50 last place. Hilarious !

  10. kandee says:

The Neilsons are an absolute joke who will be out of business within the next few years. They are making tv viewing obsolete. Shows are starting to find other formats. Once nobody is watching tv anymore, they be able to wreak havoc any longer.

  11. Sunshine says:

I’ve watch the original 90210 as well as the latest one. Each had their own issues. I actually enjoyed the latest one and thought the finale, though a bit rushed, was good. I even cried & rewatched the ending… I’m a hopeless romantic ;)
It was actually better than the original BH90210’s finale. The original became the Donna & Kelly show … My least fav characters while the latest incarnation remained an ensemble where the stars genuinely seemed to want to be there & haven’t developed OVER inflated egos. ;)
