In the first clip below, David and Mary Margaret discover a not-that-huge giant stowed on Captain Hook’s ship. And while though you think that Anton would appreciate the rescue, his reaction to seeing David sends a meaty fist a-flying. How will wee Snow save her beau?

This second clip sheds light on the giant’s previous, long-ago run-in with Prince Charming — or at least someone who looks like him — as well as the big guy’s introduction to “Jack” (played by Smallville‘s Cassidy Freeman). What’s the saying about strangers bearing gifts…?

    • Not necessarily. She says she hasn’t had occasion to try the mushroom herself and references a woman that gave it to her.

      • She did mention she got it from a wise woman…The white queen maybe?

    • Jefferson is on Broadway, or at least the actor who plays him now so probably not. After Broadway he will be playing Bucky Barnes in the Captain America sequel.

    • She says her name is Jacqueline but everyone calls her Jack. As in Jack and the Beanstalk. I’m guessing the woman she says she got the mushroom from is Alice.

      • But isn’t Alice the one that defeats the jabberwock? Obviously not in the original book since Jabberwocky was just a nonsense poem within the book, but in Tim Burton’s version she actually fights it. Going with that information, it could be believed that Jack may also be Alice, much like Rumple is also the Beast and the Crocodile. Once has shown a proclivity for combining characters.

  • “Hast thou slain the jabberwock? Come here my beemish BOY.” So unless Alice was going by the name of “Al”, then it’s more likely that “Jack” here polished off my man the jabberwock….
