What to Watch Friday: Haven Time-Travels, a Wild Fringe Event, Whitney Houston Tribute and More

On TV this Friday: Haven messes with the time-space continuum, Miss Tyra picks America’s Next Top Model, Malibu Country holds out for a Gym Class Hero and Grammy shows the greatest love of all to Whitney Houston. As a supplement to TVLine’s original features (linked within), here are 10 programs to keep on your radar.

8 pm Undercover Boss (CBS) | Cinnabon president Kat Cole – the series youngest jefe so far – goes undercover in one of the franchise’s micro-bakeries (and, I’m assuming, doesn’t get the heavenly smell out of her clothes for weeks).

8 pm America’s Next Top Model: College Edition (The CW) | Season finale: A bunch of photo shoots and a runway show featuring previously eliminated contestants lead up to the choosing of this cycle’s fiercest face. Work it, girls! (An hour-long highlights show follows at 9 pm. Sorry, Nikita!)

8:30 pm Malibu Country (ABC) | Reba’s insulted when Mr. Bata wants a rapper (Travie McCoy, guest-starring as himself) — and not her — to record one of her songs.

PREVIEW | Grimm‘s Claire Coffee on Adalind’s Schade-y Return to Portland, Plans for Renard

9 pm Fringe (Fox) | A member of the team orchestrates a Fringe event of his own. (Check out a photo.)

9 pm CSI: NY (CBS) | Lindsay returns to Montana to visit her father (played by Charmed‘s James Read) and deal with her past. Mark Moses (Desperate Housewives) also guest-stars. (Watch a video sneak peek!)

10 pm Haven (Syfy) | Duke’s transported into the past, so Nathan has to find a way to rescue him and set things right in the present.

10 pm We Will Always Love You: A Grammy Tribute to Whitney Houston (CBS) | Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, Usher and others pay homage to the pop icon in a special featuring performances, new footage and exclusive interviews.

10 pm Dateline (NBC) | Today co-anchor Hoda Kotb chats with The Voice coach Christina Aguilera about her new album, Lotus; Gossip Girl‘s Kelly Rutherford talks with Andrea Canning about her high-profile custody dispute and the legal decision that changed her life.

10 pm Hunted (Cinemax) | Sam wakes up in her hospital room to find a familiar face promising to be an ally – and he seems to back that up by divulging a secret that causes her to take action.

10 pm Real Time With Bill Maher (HBO) | Season 10 finale: Maher’s guests are Monty Python alum Eric Idle, documentarian Michael Moore, Daily Beast journalist David Frum and political strategist Ana Navarro.
