What to Watch Thursday: Burn Notice and Suits Sign Off, Bible Game Show Debuts and More

On TV this Thursday: Burn Notice, Suits and Anger Management come to a close, American Bible Challenge wonders whether you’re smarter than a disciple and a badly timed text message makes Jenna’s life even more Awkward. As a supplement to TVLine’s original features (linked within), here are 10 programs to look out for tonight.

8 pm American Bible Challenge (GSN) | Series premiere: And yea, Game Show Network decreed that the prophet Jeff Foxworthy would host a show challenging contestants’ knowledge of holy scripture. And it was good…? (We’ll see.)

9 pm Burn Notice (USA Network) | The mid-season finale finds Michael and the team in Panama to track down super-sniper Tyler Gray (Sons of Anarchy‘s Kenny Johnson). Alas, they wind up outnumbered and outgunned. Meanwhile in Miami, Madeline’s got some tough questions for Card (John C. McGinley). What to expect: one of the series’ biggest explode-y moments. What not to expect: the final bombshell.

9 pm Saving Hope (NBC) | Charlie wonders if an emotional block is keeping him comatose. Work that stuff out, brother – your lady is waiting for you!

9 pm Project Runway (Lifetime) | Women in need of makeovers get help from the designers, and Big Fashion Deal Alice Temperley sits in as a guest judge.

9:30 pm Anger Management (FX) | Season finale: Charlie’s post-coital offer of a movie night freaks Kate out so much, she sets him up with another woman. Enough about them: We want to know whether FX will pull the trigger on the show’s 90-episode (!) renewal.

  • I still find it weird that for the past two Thursday schedules, Suits isn’t listed. Even when the headline already mentions it…

  • Suits is in-between Anger Management and Rookie Blue. When they’ve written in-depth coverage of a show, they link to it so you can get all the info.

    • Tonight: Burn Notice and Suits.

My working theory on “the final bombshell” (not to be revealed tonight) – Card is responsible for killing Anson and therefore, also Nate. Just a gut feeling. Either he felt he was protecting Michael and considered Nate collateral damage or Card has a more sinister agenda perhaps. Love John C. McGinley but it just seems a little too convenient how he has just reinsterted himself in Michael’s life. I can always be wrong. Can’t wait to see his interaction with Maddy tonight!

      • I agree with you. From the start, I have had a hunch that Card is not on the level. Cant wait for tonight.
