On TV this Thursday: Burden of Truth and In the Dark wrap their seasons, Legendary crowns a winner and Amy Schumer documents a difficult pregnancy. Here are 10 programs to keep on your radar; all times are Eastern.
Midseason finale: Bill is determined to follow his heart despite a growing controversy. (Return date TBA.)
Series premiere (all eight episodes): From Regular Show creator JG Quintel comes this animated comedy about a married couple, their five-year-old daughter and their two divorced friends, all living under one roof; voice cast includes Danielle Brooks and Kimiko Glenn (Orange Is the New Black) and Jason Mantzoukas (The Good Place).
This three-part docuseries chronicles Amy Schumer’s extremely difficult pregnancy as well as the formation of her 2019 comedy special. (Watch trailer.)
Season 1 finale (two episodes): After the four remaining Houses joining forces to create two iconic “Megahouses” that compete across five deep-sea categories, three advance to the finals, where the first-ever Legendary champion is awarded $100,000.
Two episodes (special time): First up, unlikely allies try to put a stop to Madeline and Ivy’s plan. Then in the series’ penultimate episode, the remaining members of the team must rely on unstable genius Kathy Gustofson as Ivy races to retrieve the ZIP bombs.
Season 3 finale: As she and Billy prepare for trial, the memory of Joanna’s own trauma leads to a breakthrough. (Check renewal status.)
Series premiere: Contestants are pitted against each other in a variety of water obstacles to win a whole $10K; “The Miz” and Rocsi Diaz host.
