The Flash: See First Photos (Including 2 Exclusives) From Final Season

Flash Final Season Photos

With the start of The Flash‘s farewell “Run, Barry, run!” now just two weeks away, The CW has (finally) let loose with the first photos from Season 9.

You can check them out above and down below, accompanied by the two #WestAllen-centric exclusives that were a part of TVLine’s crowd-pleasing 2023 First Look package.

Premiering Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 8/7c, Season 9 of The Flash picks up one week after the Reverse Flash was defeated in the Season 8 finale, and Barry and Iris are reconnecting. “But when a deadly group of Rogues descends on Central City led by a powerful new threat, The Flash and his team… must once again defy impossible odds to save the day,” the logline tells us. “A deadly new adversary rises to challenge Barry Allen’s heroic legacy. And in their greatest battle yet, Barry and Team Flash will be pushed to their limits, in order to save Central City one last time.”

As recently announced, former Arrowverse front man Stephen Amell will reprise his Arrow role in the ninth episode of The Flash‘s farewell tour. “As soon as our final season was announced, we knew we wanted Stephen to come back and reprise his iconic role as Oliver Queen,” The Flash showrunner Eric Wallace explained. “After all, it was Oliver who originally launched Barry Allen on his heroic path. That’s why everyone on Team Flash felt so strongly that it was important to create a full-circle moment with Oliver’s return in the final season of The Flash.”

Additionally, Keiynan Lonsdale (as Wally West/Kid Flash), David Ramsey (John Diggle/Spartan) and Sendhil Ramamurthy (Dr. Ramsey Rosso/Bloodwork) are all due for an encore in that same Episode 9, which is being directed by Danielle Panabaker, while other announced guest castingsinclude Batwoman alum Javicia Leslie in a secret-ish capacity and Nicole Maines as Supergirl‘s Nia Nal aka Dreamer.
