WHAT: The Plot
Unlike previous seasons, American Horror Story: Delicate is based on source material: Danielle Valentine’s forthcoming novel Delicate Condition.
Described as “the feminist update to Rosemary’s Baby we all needed,” the novel — which hits shelves in August — tells the story of a woman who “becomes convinced that a sinister figure is going to great lengths to make sure her pregnancy never happens.”
In another first, the entire season will be tackled by one writer, Halley Feiffer.
no matter what happens this season with Kim, who might surprise us with her role as the mother of the devil baby. but the most IMPORTANT is that EMMA ROBERTS IS BACK :) :) :)
She needs a new agent if she’s doing a show with Kim Kardashian.
The show seems to be drifting further and further away from its core concept: each season is an exploration and subversion of an iconically American horror setting: suburban haunted house, insane asylum, hotel, film set, summer camp, etc.
I suppose Rosemary’s Baby is pretty iconic, but it feels a bit too specific. Also, I suspect that the show will lean heavily into hot-button reproductive rights issues. Murphy productions are like Russian Roulette when it comes to controversial topics: sometimes very sensitive, and sometimes shamelessly ham-fisted. Hopefully this one leans towards the former.
The show jumped the shark eons ago, but honestly how many iconic horror settings there are yet? I feel like they did all of them.
Ryan was impress with Kim K because of her acting in SNL makes me cringe, this isn’t a comedy this is a horror show, why would he bring her on if he was impress with her comedy. Does not mean she automatically is good at horror.
She’s not good at anything acting-wise…because she’s a “personality,” not an actress.
I will no longer be watching my favorite show as of season 12. They are bring new cast members that will drop rating do to who they are. They are a lot of people like me who watch this show to get away from all these ” reality show” with people with no skills of acting!
Now! They want to bring aboard people that a lot of American refuse to watch to one of the best show I have seen!! This is sad!
Emma Roberts can’t act her way out of a wet paper bag. What is Ryan Murphy’s fixations ith her? Dont even get me started on Kim Kardashian.

People like her makes America look a joke! No brains and all 100% fake! Horrible as a human and disgusting role model for anyone on in this world. parents who let teens watch that show of disgusting teaching there teens will end up starving for attention!! Sad!!

Using Kim for inspiration, why not do *AHS: Kardashians* :
An ambitious woman sells her soul to the devil for fame. She has her blond divorced friend sacrified (ex husband is arrested and tried for murder), she mates with a goat creature from hell and produces a daughter that’s clearly not her husband’s, who eventually dies when he starts noticing something strange us happening. The woman marries a second time and has 2 other daughters. She films her second born having relations with a rapper that urinates on her, and the tape make them famous through reality televisions, but as they get richer the family feels the toll their pact is having on their soul, and they know the devil will get his payday Dr Faustus style.
I would definitely watch that! But I won’t watch this show if KK is in it. At best, she’s a major distraction.
I love AHS and have watched every season and loved the cast in them all! But Kim Kardashian in season 12 due to her “acting abilities” on the Saturday Night Live skit…..come on! I love Emma Roberts and I hope she is ready for a real nightmare with Kim Kardashian in this one with her!!

Honestly, I’m looking forward for this installment. I liked the fact that they’re using a source material for this one instead of having Bryan and Ryan trying to come up with new ideas that don’t work.
Can’t say much about Kim K, maybe she’ll surprise everyone, but people can’t be mad about Ryan Murphy for casting her when he is famous for casting big names in his projects, and wether we like it or not, she is a huge name in american culture. Also, i’m VERY happy that Emma is back!
I’m looking forward to it! Glad Emma is back and I actually don’t mind Kim so I’m looking forward to seeing how she does in this role.
I like Emma Robert’s too, but come on, Kim??? Yeah, it takes such hard work and really boosts acting abilities taking selfies 24/7 with that stupid duck face crap
I have watched every season of AHS because it is original; doesn’t conform to societal expectations; and was pure escapism from the banality of the shallow reality television genre. But since the creators have now chosen to bow to ridiculous pop culture by featuring the absolute WORST of all of these encapsulated in Kim Kardashian as the lead character, I’m done. I refuse to fall to this level of sheepdom any further. I know my lone refusal to further a Kardashian’s vomitous ‘career’ by boycotting the 12th season of AHS may not make a difference, but if enough thinking and self-determining minds make the same sane decision, maybe this will be the end of the run away train on the trashy track AHS has decided they want the future of this franchise to be. Shame on your pointless cheap pop culture grab for views instead of garnering praise and views based on quality work.
I am just saying that it breaks my heart that a show that gave us the incredible, beautiful, tragic, truthful imagery of the double finale Requiem for NYC can’t return with an anymore thoughtful actress with proven chops and serious cred.

I was so happy when they announced Matt joining the cast – short lived when they announced the return of Emma Roberts. I’m definitely skipping this one.
Looking forward to AHS 12!!! Hope Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters and Kathy Bates return. As far as Kim Kardashian – lets welcome her and give her a chance

I have been watching American horror story faithfully since day 1. I have to say with each season it has been disapointing to see that little by little, the regulars stopped showing. I still watch, but what a let down. What really sucks is you all want to add one of the most vain and dumb people out there. You think she is such a brilliant actress because of some dumb stint on SNL? Let me guess did mommy pimp her out for this too?
The show isn’t original at all. I do enjoy it, it’s fine. There are good moments. But we can’t pretend Murphy is talented or original.
Ryan Murphy and his writing partner pull from other sources to the point of plagiarism. They always have. They’re copiers. Imitators.
-Coven is the X-Men but for witches. A private school for the gifted, rife with power struggles.
-Freakshow was a blatant appropriation of Tod Browning’s Freaks.
-Hotel is taken, sometimes directly, from The Hunger, among other films. The scene introducing the Countess is nearly directly plagiarized from the opening scene of the Hunger, changed just enough to avoid a lawsuit.
-NYC includes scenes and settings overtly plagiarized from the film Cruising. Several plot points and scenes are directly stolen from William Friedkin’s Cruising. It was shocking to watch such extreme copying.
The show is fine.
But Ryan Murphy and Falchuk are mere imitators at best, and unoriginal, thieving hacks at worst.
They’ve made careers copying the works of others that did it better first.
They’re very wealthy posers, selling stolen ideas to an audience that doesn’t know any better.
The word feminist doesn’t belong in the same article as a photo of a kardashian. Success by way of disservice to other women, a vapid song and dance that pays handsomely. What a joke.
NYC was by far the worst season of the show. Murphy needs to get it together or the show will continue to decline. Get back in line with Asylum and Coven.
I thought maybe it was over for me and AHS now that Kim Kardashian has come in the picture. But then I was thinking, this may be to my benefit after all. Here’s hoping for a good slasher scene!!!!
