WHAT: A reboot of the hit CW drama, this new take will introduce us to a fresh crop of characters and "will address just how much social media — and the landscape of New York itself — has changed in the intervening years." Original creators Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage will return as executive producers, along with original EP Joshua Safran, who will pen the reboot.

Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver (Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Jurassic World) will pen the adaptation of Madeline Miller's novel of the same name.

WHAT: Based on Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's novel of the same name, Americanah is an epic story of a woman born in Nigeria who leaves for America and her extraordinary experiences with love, heartache, adversity and self-discovery. Danai Gurira (The Walking Dead) will pen the pilot and serve as showrunner.

WHAT: The reboot follows the adventures of self-proclaimed "Civil Rights Legend" Robert "Granddad" Freeman, and his two rambunctious grandsons Huey and Riley. The family has recently moved to an idyllic community in suburban Maryland only to see it taken over by the tyrannical Uncle Ruckus and his bizarre neo-fascist regime. Life under Ruckus turns out to be an everyday struggle to survive. Creator Aaron McGruder returns as showrunner.

WHAT: An adaptation of the DC Comics series, which takes place in America during a second civil war, leading Manhattan to become a demilitarized zone that is destroyed and isolated from the rest of the world

WHAT: The TBS comedy moves to the streaming service with the already-wrapped third season, which "finds the gang swept up in the trial of the century after Dory and Drew are charged for the semi-accidental murder of a private investigator. As Elliott and Portia grapple with whether or not to testify as witnesses, the friends are pitted against each other and thrust into the national spotlight as notorious public figures. As Dory's sanity begins to fracture, it becomes increasingly clear that they may not have brunch together for quite some time."

PREMIERE DATE: The first installment drops Thursday, June 25.

WHAT: The first special, BMO, follows the lovable little robot from Adventure Time. When there's a deadly space emergency in the farthest reaches of the galaxy, there's only one hero to call, and it's probably not BMO. Except that this time it is! The second special, Obsidian, features Marceline & Princess Bubblegum as they journey to the imposing, beautiful Glass Kingdom—and deep into their tumultuous past—to prevent an earthshaking catastrophe. Wizard City, the third installment, follows Peppermint Butler, starting over at the beginning, as just another inexperienced Wizard School student. When mysterious events at the campus cast suspicion on Pep, and his checkered past, can he master the mystic arts in time to prove his innocence? The fourth special, Together Again, brings Finn and Jake together again, to rediscover their brotherly bond and embark on the most important adventure of their lives.

WHAT: The DC Comics series, from Berlanti Productions, will "depict the adventures of a multitude of Lanterns, including Guy Gardner, Jessica Cruz, Simon Baz and Alan Scott — Earth's first Green Lantern, who, true to the comics, is a gay man — and many more." It will also include fan favorites such as Sinestro and Kilowog, and introduce new heroes to the ranks of the Green Lantern Corps. The show will be co-written and executive-produced by Arrowverse alum Marc Guggenheim and Seth Grahame-Smith (The LEGO Batman Movie), with the latter serving as showrunner.

Ridley Scott (The Martian, Blade Runner) will direct and executive-produce, while Aaron Guzikowski (Prisoners) serves as creator/showrunner/writer.

WHAT: An anthology series of cautionary tales set in a world where superpowers exist, Strange Adventures will feature characters from across the DC Comics canon and explore "close-ended morality tales about the intersecting lives of mortals and superhumans." The project follows "man of two worlds" Adam Strange, an archaeologist-turned-intergalactic hero when he's zeta-beamed to planet Rann. Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter will serve as EPs, while John Stephens (Gotham) will be the showrunner/writer.

WHAT: A dark yet playful half-hour following a group of high school students whose exploration of modern sexuality (devices and all) tests deeply entrenched beliefs about life, love and the nature of family in their conservative community. Lena Dunham (Girls) serves as an executive producer on the series, which is created by 18-year old Zelda Barnz and her father, Daniel Barnz.

Per the royal logline, "Before George rules Britannia, he'll be laying down his own laws in Janetti's comedic take on the future King of England's childhood as seen from the prince's own point of view. Because his succession isn't coming anytime soon, in each episode George will find his path in life as a young prince in modern times — from the 775 rooms of Buckingham Palace to his family's sea of corgis to primary school with commoners."

WHAT: A three-part animated series based on the classic DC Comics character, which will begin with Aquaman's first day on the job as king of Atlantis alongside his two royal advisors, Vulko and Mera. "Between dealing with unscrupulous surface dwellers, elder evils from beyond time and his own half-brother who wants to overthrow him, Aquaman is going to have to rise to the challenge and prove to his subjects, and to himself, that he's the right man for the trident," the logline reads.

WHAT: A prequel to the 1998 film Practical Magic (which was based on Alice Hoffman's novel), this "epic, generational family drama" is set in 1960s New York City, following three siblings — Franny, Jet and Vincent Owens — as they wrestle with abnormalities that have kept them isolated... not to mention grief, war, bigotry, dark magic and a centuries-old curse designed to keep them away from love.

WHAT: New episodes of the beloved kids' TV show, which will later air on PBS Kids several months after they drop on HBO Max. The streamer has also ordered a series of Sesame Street spinoffs and specials, including the late-night talk show parody The Not Too Late Show With Elmo (premiering Wednesday, May 27; watch trailer); Mecha Builders, a cartoon that imagines Sesame Street characters as heroes in robot-animation style; and The Monster at the End of This Story, an animated adaptation of the children's book The Monster at the End of This Book. (Season 2 of the children's series Esme & Roy will move to HBO Max, as well, premiering Thursday, June 25.)

40. National Lampoon's Vacation - 1983

WHO: Cast members TBA. Christmas Vacation alum-turned-Big Bang Theory star Johnny Galecki (aka Russ Griswold No. 3) is on board as an executive producer, while Tim Hobert (Scrubs, The Middle) will write and serve as a fellow EP.

WHAT: Based on the National Lampoon's Vacation films, this single-camera comedy follows members of the titular family after they return home from their vacation, focusing on their lives in the suburbs of modern-day Chicago.

WHAT: An adaptation of Tapper's first novel, The Hellfire Club tells the story of Charlie Marder, a young congressman who arrives in 1950s Washington, D.C. after the mysterious death of his predecessor, then uncovers a conspiracy that reaches the highest levels of government.
