CBS Stars: Who's On Their Way Out?

Pilot

SEAL TEAM

As previously teased in Matt's Inside Line, someone from the rookie drama's cast will not be back for Season 2. Go ahead, clutch granny's pearls!

The Bunker

CRIMINAL MINDS

The lives of two pivotal characters will hang in the balance at the end of Season 13. And considering how much turnover this ensemble has experienced in recent years, it's entirely possible those casting cliffhangers could turn into permanent exits.

HAWAII FIVE-0

Alex O'Loughlin originally intended to turn in his badge in May at the conclusion of his current contract. But the actor is now reconsidering that decision. "Is there a way that I can realistically see a Season 9 being a part of my life? I think so," he recently mused to TVLine. " I can sort of quietly and sensibly sit back and go, 'There's a version where if CBS can make a deal and be reasonable, then I'm prepared to be reasonable, too.'" But another potential hurdle awaits the Eye network: Scott Caan's Five-0 pact is also set to expire next month.

THE BIG BANG THEORY

There will be no down-to-the-wire contract negotiations this year: The cast is already committed through next season (likely the sitcom's last).

Scorpion

SCORPION

Leading lady Katharine McPhee is currently starring in Waitress on Broadway, but, never fear, her limited engagement wraps on June 17, well ahead of when Scorpion would commence production on an expected Season 5.

NCIS

NCIS

Pauley Perrette makes her final appearance as Abby in this season's penultimate episode on May 8, but she may not be the only NCIS vet headed for the exit. Leading man Mark Harmon's contract expires next month and he has yet to re-sign on the dotted line (although there is every expectation that he will, so relax).

NCIS: LA

NCIS: LOS ANGELES

Now that Hetty is back in the fold, will the show jettison Nia Long's icily received Shay Mosely? While we're tossing out burning questions, here's another one: Might Mosley's better-received sidekick — Andrea Bordeaux's Special Agent Harley Hidoko — stick around? (We hope so.)

High Stakes

NCIS: NEW ORLEANS

Shalita Grant's April 3 exit after four seasons as Agent Sonja Percy was "amicable and mutually agreed upon" by her and the show.

YOUNG SHELDON

As foretold by The Big Bang Theory, patriarch George Cooper Sr. (played by Lance Barber) has an expiration date stamped on his forehead. But no need to panic — it's at least four years away. As exec producer Chuck Lorre noted over the summer, the prequel spinoff takes place five years before the established death of Sheldon's pa. Futhermore, "We don't have to follow an exact timelines," he added. "A season doesn't have to be a year. It could be a couple months. We have a lot of freedom with the backstory."

MACGYER

Isabel Lucas made her final appearance in the Jan. 12 episode when her Samantha Cage returned home to Australia. And expect her to remain Down Under permanently: a show source says there are no plans for the character to return.
