Euphoria Reveals Major Cast Changes For Season 3: See Who's Coming And Going

Euphoria boasts an all-star cast — but not all of them will be back for Season 3.

Nika King (who played Rue and Gia's mother, Leslie) and Algee Smith (who played Cassie's ex-boyfriend, Chris) won't be a part of the upcoming season of the HBO drama, TVLine has confirmed.

In June, HBO CEO and Chairman Casey Bloys told TVLine that the show's "core cast" would be back for the third season. These include Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Eric Dane and Maude Apatow. Colman Domingo will be a recurring guest star.

New series regulars include: Martha Kelly, who plays Laurie, the dealer Rue bought the suitcase of drugs from; Chloe Cherry, who plays Faye, a familiar presence at Fezco's place; Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (His Dark Materials) and Toby Wallace (The Society).

The Season 3 cast also will include Kadeem Hardison (A Diffferent World), Spanish pop star Rosalia, former NFL star Marshawn Lynch, James Landry Hébert (1883), Anna Van Patten (Gossip Girl), Priscilla Delgado (A League of Their Own) and Darrell Britt-Gibson (Barry).

When Euphoria returns for Season 3 in 2026, the story is expected to take a time jump that will show us the characters after they've graduated from high school. Since it last aired, cast member Barbie Ferreira (aka Kat) announced her exit, Storm Reid (Gia) also said she wouldn't be back, and Angus Cloud (who played Fez) tragically died of a drug overdose. The eight-episode third season — which might be the show's last — began filming in February.
