If True Blood itself were a vampire, Alan Ball would be its all-knowing sire. And when I spoke to the series’ creator (who’s stepping down as showrunner) at Comic-Con, he said that bidding good-bye to his fangy family was tough.

Not so tough, though, that he slimmed down the number of casualties in the Season 5 finale. READ MORE & WATCH VIDEO

“I have to say it was actually kind of cool having my brains blown out,” confesses Wesley with a laugh. “All of the special effects and everything… It was cool.”

True Blood fans familiar with Charlaine Harris’ source material may be in for a surprise when it comes to a pivotal shower scene between Eric and Sookie. Exec producer Alan Ball spilled some intel about the hotly anticipated moment during a scoop-tastic panel Friday afternoon at Comic-Con that also included key cast members giving clues about the future of Bill’s incestuous tryst, Sam and Tara’s romance, and a particularly creepy baby doll. Oh, and for good measure they shared a new promo video. …READ MORE & WATCH VIDEO

APaquin_ASkarsgard_SMoyer_514

Is True Blood about to turn the Bill-Sookie-Eric triangle into a threesome?

That’s the first thought that crossed my mind when I eyed this provocative teaser for the HBO drama’s Aug. 21 episode: “Convalescing after her latest near-death trauma, Sookie envisions a world where there’s room for both Bill and Eric.”

Does that mean what I think it means? You better believe I dropped that exact question on exec producer Alan Ball’s lap … WATCH VIDEO & GET SPOILERS
