Upon rescuing Fitz, she was abducted by mysterious agents and subject to a(nother!) Kree monolith that catapulted her into a post-apocalyptic future in space, while Fitz was left behind in the doomed present. Oh, and that new makeup job.

Unwittingly reignited the Klingon war by bumping into, and then killing, one during a space walk. Committed mutiny as a commander in the name of saving her crew from certain death. After watching her longtime mentor get slain at the hand of a Klingon, received her lifetime prison sentence — which, thankfully, was cut short by her stealthy recruitment by the Discovery.
