NEW GIG: After the literal insanity of NBC's cannibal drama, wouldn't it be nice to see Dhavernas go power suit-to-power suit as a frenemy of Hayley Atwell's character on the upcoming Conviction?

NEW GIG: If Josh's freaked-out face at the end of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend's first season means what we think it does, Rebecca will remain a single woman as we move into Season 2. Enter Esten, as an older love interest. The Nashville alum can certainly sing, and he's got Whose Line Is It Anyway?-honed comedy chops to boot.

NEW GIG: Since The CW likes to keep it in the family, Wood could fill a super-slot on Legends of Tomorrow as the new (JSA?) hero joining the team. Another option: Thanks to The Vampire Diaries, we know he's really good at being bad, so how about making him Oliver's new adversary on Arrow, as a TVLine reader suggested?

PAST GIG: Heartbeat

NEW GIG: After playing a doc on three different shows (Brothers & Sisters, Red Band Society and Heartbeat), the actor is due for a successful medical drama. And as Grey's Anatomy's newest resident, Annable could be just the guy to take Maggie's mind off Riggs.

PAST GIG: Second Chance

NEW GIG: If Supergirl's Calista Flockhart seeks out a "part-time" situation as Cat, given the show's move to Vancouver (and The CW), Kara will need someone else to report to. Vadsaria — having worked in Vancouver on Fox's one-and-done Second Chance — could easily slip into some sort of "supervisory" role.

PAST GIG: The Grinder

NEW GIG: Ugh. Did Fox really cancel its delightful freshman comedy? (Wait: Don't answer that.) While we wait for them to reverse their decision, how about casting Savage as a single-dad suitor for Lennon Parham's Maggie on USA's wildly underrated Playing House?

PAST GIG: The Family

NEW GIG: In a rare comedic turn, she moves into the Real O'Neals' household as Eileen's estranged sister, down on her luck after losing her job, home and husband.

PAST GIG: The Mysteries of Laura

NEW GIG: What if NYPD detective Laura Diamond replaced Sergeant Dodds (R.I.P.) on Law & Order: SVU, allowing Messing to hang with #WCW pal Mariska Hargitay? Lucas' Captain Jake Broderick could stay put at the 2nd Precinct, seeing as he and Laura have reunited and won't mix work and play this time.

PAST GIG: Galavant

NEW GIG: Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, as Greg's Season 2 rebound fling, a perfect 10 with perfect pitch — and a hidden mean streak that makes Valencia look as nice as White Josh by comparison.

PAST GIG: The Good Wife

NEW GIG: A guy like Empire's Jamal needs more than one suitor. We'd love to see Czuchry join Season 3 as a renowned, openly gay self-help guru who enables the rising music star to work through his complicated family issues — and winds up dippin' it and doin' it (as Wendy Williams likes to say) in the process.

PAST GIG: Minority Report

NEW GIG: Good might be great in the Shondaland universe, perhaps as a first-term senator who turns to Scandal's Olivia & Co. to bury a deep, dark secret from her past that could have national-security implications.

PAST GIG: CSI: Cyber

NEW GIG: CBS' crime procedural never really provided a showcase for the Oscar winner's formidable talents. She'd be the perfect choice as a high-powered but flighty book publisher who signs Girls' Hannah to a two-book deal — and inappropriately tries to insert herself into her young protégé's circle of friends.

PAST GIG: Castle

NEW GIG: With an end date now in sight for The Americans, imagine the delicious final complications that could ensue if Philip is "tasked" with cozying up to Katic as a new would-be asset, or if the multi-lingual actress decides to add Russian to her wheelhouse and play a fellow Soviet. Whatever the scenario/role, we say: "Da!"

One of the biggest disappointments of last season, ABC's reboot of the beloved Muppets endured a number of creative reshufflings, but still got the boot in May after just one season.
