We’ve always known Nat Faxon was something special, but now it’s official: He’s Highly Gifted.
The Married star is among the lastest round of actors who’ll lend their voices to characters in Maker Studios’ Highly Gifted, TVLine has learned exclusively.
The animated series, from brothers/Instagram cartoonists The Lehrer Boys, is based on Daniel and Jeremy Lehrer’s experiences in gifted-and-talented high school programs where, per the official logline, “they existed in a precarious intellectual bubble within the larger school — an exotic and forbidden world, where people went on dates, attended sporting events, partied, and engaged in other exotic and mysterious rites and ceremonies.”
Faxon will voice Schnazi, an amoral social Darwinist. Josh Brener (Silicon Valley) will play the nerdy Dave, and comedian/YouTube star Jamie Curry will voice Jody, the magnet program’s most popular girl.
The trio joins a cast that includes Drake Bell (Drake & Josh), Ron Funches (Undateable) and and pop star Kesha.
