Suits Season 7 Premiere Date USA 100th Episode

Suits, Playing House, The Sinner Get Summer Premiere Dates at USA

USA Network has unveiled its summer programming schedule, including the return of a few old favorites and a hotly anticipated premiere.

The hit legal drama Suits kicks off its seventh season on Wednesday, July 12, with its landmark 100th episode set to air on August 30. Lennon Parham and Jessica St. Clair’s buddy sitcom Playing House finally returns for Season 3 after a nearly two-year hiatus — too long, if you ask us — on Friday, June 23, with the entire third season hitting video-on-demand the following day.

In the series-debut category, Jessica Biel’s new crime thriller The Sinner premieres Wednesday, August 2; Biel stars as a young mother who commits a shocking act of violence, but has no idea why. Also debuting on USA this summer: the celebrity game show Big Star Little Star, with host Cat Deeley quizzing celebs and their family members on how well they know each other.

Returning dramas Queen of the South and Shooter also got summer premiere dates. Here’s the full lineup, with dates and times:

WEDNESDAY, MAY 31
9 pm Big Star Little Star (series premiere)

THURSDAY, JUNE 8
10 pm Queen of the South Season 2

FRIDAY, JUNE 23
11 pm Playing House Season 3 (entire season available on VOD on June 24)

WEDNESDAY, JULY 12
9 pm Suits Season 7

TUESDAY, JULY 18
10 pm Shooter Season 2

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 2
10 pm The Sinner (series premiere)

Excellent news! How many episodes of Playing House?

  2. Haz says:

So USA makes fans of Playing House wait two years for a new season and then places it on a Friday night? Why didn’t they pair this with Chrisley? I’m sorry but that’s pretty crappy on the networks part.

  3. SJ says:

I never thought I’d see another episode of Playing House again despite it having been renewed way back when. Two years is just cruel. This is also likely the last season given the Friday slot and the VOD burnoff treatment. I just hope it’s at least 8 episodes…

  4. Hazel says:

Finally, new Playing House episodes. Can’t wait!!!

Excited for Suits and Shooter’s new seasons this summer!

    Queen of the south!!!!!! YESSSSSS!!!!!!!

  8. Eric says:

FINALLY more episodes of Playing House. It’s upsetting to see how little USA seems to care about this fantastic series. Jessica St. Clair and Lennon Parham are great talents, and they deserve better.

  9. Stephanie G. says:

Great news about Playing House but I agree with other commenters that it’s getting a garbage time slot. If only USA and TVLand were still under the same umbrella, Playing House could move over to TV Land and be paired with Younger this summer. Wishful thinking!

I’m excited for a second season of Queen of the South. No complaints there.

Two-year hiatus, Fridays at 11, and the entire season being on OnDemand? Yeah, USA is actively trying to cancel Playing House, aren’t they? These ratings are gonna SUCK.

It just struck me how many shows I used to look forward to in the summer on USA. Now it is just Suits for me. I know there are those who enjoy the newer lineup, but I miss the days of “Characters Welcome”!
