Lucifer DeKay

Lucifer Casts White Collar's Tim DeKay in Deadly Midseason Arc

White Collar alum Tim DeKay has landed a recurring guest star role on Fox’s Lucifer — and it sounds like he may leave a body in his wake.

TVLine has learned exclusively that DeKay will appear in Season 2’s Episodes 12 and 13 as Dr. Jacob Carlisle, a brilliant neuroscience professor whose encounter with Lucifer will have deadly ramifications on someone the Devil cares about. And as we all know, that is a short list.

Lucifer, which received a full Season 2 order last month, continues its run on Monday at 9/8c, with Episode 10 aka its midseason finale

DeKay’s casting comes weeks after he landed a recurring role on Season 3 of ABC’s American Crime. In addition to his White Collar run, his previous TV credits include Fox’s Second Chance (fka Lookinglass fka The Frankenstein Code fka Frankenstein) and ABC’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Happy Tim will be on TV more next year! Can’t wait to see him on Lucifer!

im thinking its the tech from the police department. I like her just enough for it to hurt if she is killed, and her death would fit.

I’m actually more worried that something is wrong with Chloe. If he’s playing a neuroscientist then it could connect to why Chloe was bleeding in the previews for next ep. I hope its different, like conducting a study, because he’s a professor, and finding something abnormal in the brain of Lucifer, Maze, Chloe, or his mom or brother. It would make sense for something divine to be present, and exposing that secret, especially to human scientists could be deadly.

I know before and after White Collar he was more known for playing bad guys, but since White Collar, I had a weirdly hard time believing he is the bad guy. And, yes, to someone above, Ella does seem to be the most likely victim that would hurt and effect everyone but it returns the human side of the show (maybe, I have a theory about her) to what it was last year.

  4. Michael Summerset says:

I could see them killing off Lucifer’s mother. Although they seem to be doing something with her at the moment. Another possibility would be the therapist because she’s not really all that necessary anymore.

The best show too few are watching. So well done…
