Chicago PD NIck Wechsler Cast Season 4

Chicago P.D. Nabs Nick Wechsler for Arc

The former Jack Porter’s police days aren’t over.

Revenge‘s Nick Wechsler will join Chicago P.D. this season for a multi-episode arc, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Wechsler will play Kenny Rixton, who viewed Voight as a mentor when they both worked on the gang unit. NBC tells TVLine the actor first will show up in Episode 10, “Don’t Read the News,” which is slated to air in early 2017.

In addition to portraying Revenge‘s beleaguered bar-owner-turned-cop Jack, Wechsler’s small-screen career includes stints on The PlayerIt’s Always Sunny in PhiladelphiaWithout a Trace and Roswell.

Chicago P.D.‘s two-hour fall finale, which also serves as cast member Jon Seda’s final episode before moving to the spinoff Chicago Justice, airs Wednesday at 9/8c on NBC.

Also, if Chicago Justice flops I hope Jon Seda comes back. Was not a fan of this move.

  3. Spikenalabama says:

Really don’t want to see Jon Seda leave Chicago P.D. but they really haven’t given him much of a storyline lately. I sure hope if Chicago Justice doesn’t do well he can come back to P.D.

    • Em Chicago says:

They’ve been showing the job getting rough on him. AND with his new relationship he might decide to take a step back from being in the line of fire, or he could get hurt in the winter finale… not to mention that his exit gives Burgess a chance to move to Intelligence (I know I say not to mention, then I mention).

  4. Lorna says:

  11. Yes, make Nick a regular. Loved him on Revenge and happy to see him back on TV. Hate to see Jon Seda leave but wish him well on Chicago Justice. Dick Wolfe is a genius, his Chicago series seems to be doing as well as Law and Order. Love all of his shows and have been a follower for years.

Such a shame that he’s only 5’7″ tall – his head and shoulder pics make him appear as though he should be over 6′!!
