Donald Trump Victory Speech

Donald Trump Makes First Speech as President-Elect, Thanks Hillary Clinton for Her 'Service' — Watch Video

Following the announcement that Hillary Clinton would not be speaking early Wednesday morning, her opponent took the stage at the Hilton Hotel in Manhattan.

Vice President-elect Mike Pence spoke first: “This is a historic night. The American people have spoken, and the American people have elected their new champion. … It’s almost hard for me to express the honor that I an my family feel, that we will have the privilege to serve as your Vice President of the United States of America.”

He continued, “I come to this moment deeply humbled, grateful to God for his amazing grace, grateful to my family. … I could not be here without them. And I’m deeply grateful to the American people for giving us this opportunity to serve. And I’m mostly grateful to our president-elect, whose vision and leadership will make America great again.”

Donald Trump followed, surrounded by wife Melania and the rest of his family:

“Sorry to keep you waiting — complicated business,” he began. “I’ve just received a call from Secretary Clinton. She congratulated us on our victory, and I congratulated her and her family on a very hard-fought campaign. She fought very hard. Hillary has worked very long and very hard over a long period of time, and we owe her a major debt of gratitude for her service to our country.”

He continued, “Now it’s time for America to bind the wounds of division. To all republicans and democrats and independents across this nation, I say it is time for us to come together as one united people. I pledge to every citizen of our land that I will be a president to all Americans. For those who have chosen not to support me in the past, I’m reaching out to you for your guidance and your help, so w can work together and unify our great country. As I’ve said from the beginning, ours was not a campaign, but rather an incredible and great movement made up by millions of hardworking Americans who love their country and want a better and brighter future for themselves and their families. … Working together, we will begin the urgent task of rebuilding our nation and renewing the American dream. … The forgotten men and women of our country will be forgotten no longer.”

Stay strong, everyone. Remember that although hate begets hate, love conquers all. We’ll get through this somehow.

  2. parstl says:

Bernie did not do enough to get his supporters out.
Race or rather racism and fear (the darkside) won the day.
People were tired of the Clinton machine.
The Kardashian ism and reality TV mentality of citizens guided the ballot box.
Time for self reflection and protecting our children from hate and bullYing on all levels.

  3. Von Jocks says:

I could not quite hear — what did his supporter yell about “Obama” early in the speech?

FWIW, I worked to keep Trump from getting elected, but this wasn’t a terrible speech. I don’t trust it, but it’s better than it could have been. Funny how he likes to use “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” afterward.

  4. Grey'sFan says:

People should fight to reverse the horrible mistakes that were made on Nov. 8, 2016 – there’s two months to work hard to change the outcome and make things right. #Downwithtrump

    • Marie says:

Get over it, now you know how we felt for the last 8 years.

      • Barbara Williams says:

        Amen

      • Kristi H says:

        I second that AMEN!

      • Youry says:

Like Obama thought you weren’t pretty enough to assault?

      • Angela says:

Except there’s no comparison between Obama and Trump. Obama on his worst day is always going to be eons better as a president than Trump will be. That’s a cold hard fact.

        • Piers says:

Obama will go down in history as one of the worst POTUS. He must be absolutely livid right now. It goes back to “Are you better off now than you were 8 years ago?’. And the answer was a resounding NO!

          • Angela says:

No, he won’t. The economy has been slowly improving under his leadership. Same-sex couples are now allowed to marry in all fifty states. Obamacare, while far from perfect (and you can blame its imperfections on the Republicans who watered it down so much), was at least a start towards giving people who didn’t have healthcare something. Our standing in the world and with our allies improved. Just to name a few examples. Anyone who believed we were heading in the wrong direction listened to the wrong people.

          • Collette says:

No to nearly all you say. The rest of the world laughs at America’s weakness under Obama. The economy is a mess. Obama policies only help free riders who have children they can’t afford and expect hardworking Americans to pay to raise them. Giving benefits to illegals and granting permanent residency to refugees rather than temporary asylum is a burden on taxpayers that we don’t deserve. The wheels just came off the gravy train.

          • Jamie says:

Every time people talk about how Obama was the worst, they don’t bother to pay attention to any actual facts or statistics. Unemployment is at it’s lowest since our financial crisis/stock market crash during the Bush administration, and the Obama administration oversaw over 75 straight months of jobs growth. Our budget deficit has fallen considerably under the Obama administration, and our GDP has risen around 2% each year post “Great Recession”. But yeah, keep screaming that Obama is the worst. You sound super logical.

          • Hate_Won says:

Anyway maybe it’s a blessing in disguise…I guarantee Drumpf will not fulfill not a single one of his horrid campaign promises within 4 years…I want to see that wall, I want to see how he will ship illegal immigrants out, we want to see him provide a better option of healthcare and how he’ll create jobs. Ha! Drumpf is a businessman and he used his sales tricks on the slightly dim working class and fooled them. In the mean time can the Dems get it together, they can lick their wounds later…they need to start finding a clean capable candidate right now and polish him up for 2020.

          • badgerly says:

@Collette: The world is laughing at all the American ignoramuses who actually believe that an elitist a-hole like Trump, will give them what they want. It’s laughable. Hillary Clinton I hope would have learned from her mistakes. At least she has political experience, and the diplomacy not to piss off foreign leaders.

          • Lisa says:

@Collette Actually the rest of the world loved Obama. We applauded you for electing him because while he might not have been able to live up to everything he’d promised, as so many presidents before him, he improved the United States’ economy, raised the employment rate and most important of all, he put in place Obama Care when so many were against him. He fought for health, equality, love and compassion, things your country really seems to be lacking. He might not have been perfect, he’s human, but how you don’t see how great he was is sad. His biggest failure is the election of Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton, he failed at uniting your country and giving it the hope he’d promised when he was first elected. I live in one of the most international cities in Europe and the vast majority of us were shocked and in disbelief after the elections, regardless of all the social, economic and historical explanations given to us by experts, how you could fall for the racist, misogynistic, intolerant, dishonest and hate infused mediacracy that is Trump and everything he represents is beyond us. However, you’ve chosen him democratically and as sorry as we feel for all the Americans who haven’t, we truly, truly hope that something good will come from it, from your new president, something besides the lies, the insults and the hate that we have seen since the name ‘Trump’ started appearing in conversations and media on the other side of the Atlantic.

        • Rich says:

How can you possibly call that a cold hard fact? You have no idea what Trump is going to be like. At least give the guy a chance. I didn’t vote for him, but he won and we all need to either accept that or leave.

          • Angela says:

His proposed policies and temperament don’t exactly seem to scream “decent president” material. If he wants to prove me wrong, feel free (and boy, wouldn’t that be a wonderful irony for the voters who thought they’d get something different with him), but somehow I get the feeling that’s not going to happen.

      • DL says:

I’m a Democrat, and I’ve felt that way the past 8 years, too. The problem I have is that Republicans have obstructed and obstructed and basically made clear that the 50% of America who vote blue don’t count, as far as they’re concerned, even when we win. I’ve felt just as disenfranchised by Republicans, as Republicans seem to feel about Democrats. We’re all on a level playing field here in terms of being mad at each other.
        .
For me, I’m upset because Republicans spent the last 8 years obstructing President Obama in a way that was completely unprecedented in our nation’s history. Even though the American people elected him twice, he basically wasn’t allowed to govern, nor were Democrats in general. If there’d been cooperation, Obamacare might actually be working, but instead the obstruction made sure it was basically gutted by the time it got through.
        .
Another example: More than 90% of people in this country want tighter gun legislation, but Paul Ryan wouldn’t even bring a common sense bill to the floor of the House about people on terrorist watchlists (“No fly, no buy”). The Congress of the past 8 years has accomplished less than the historic “Do-Nothing Congress” by a large margin. They promised they would basically obstruct Hillary into oblivion if she got elected. That’s not democracy. That’s dysfunction.
        .
That said, as a Democrat, I’m trying to see the silver lining here. I hope and pray that the Donald Trump we hear exists in private — composed, intelligent, a good listener — is the Donald Trump we get as President, rather than the character he’s been playing on stage this last year and a half. His acceptance speech and the way he referred to Secretary Clinton respectfully was a good start, at least.
        .
And I’m also hoping that as fellow New Yorkers, a President Trump and Democratic Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer would find common ground, and work toward proposals that are beneficial toward everyone.
        .
Also, for the love of God, climate change is real. Pretty much everyone in the world agrees except America. We have to get on the same page, Democrats and Republicans alike.

      • parstl says:

Eight years ago there was not a racist and sexist taking the white house. President Obama was then aND has always been a class act and respectful to everyone. And, as it turned out, he pulled the country out of the worst recession in history. Trump capitalized on hate and fear and ignorance. He doesn’t and has never given a rip about the middle class and poor.

    • Maria says:

Disclaimer: I am not a fan of Clinton or Trump.
Here’s the thing though…to the Democrat voters out there: You do not speak for everyone. Please learn that fact. You speak for yourself only.

    • Jacob says:

      Stop crying

  5. CMcFarlane says:

Good speech. Wish that he had acknowledged Mike Pence, his Vice President, more. He just shook his hand briefly “as an afterthought.”

  6. cuius says:

Surprised he didn’t thank the “media” for all that free publicity, and keeping his name before the public

    • S says:

Oh please, if anyone had the media working in their favor it was Hilary.

      • sandy says:

OMG, You’re clueless. The media for Hillary??? Have you been living under a rock? all stations talked about her emails 24-7. even when they reported on trump and his taped p*s*y comments about grabbing women they always snook in a good word for him or let kelly ann conway run her mouth without correcting her.

  7. Like many Canadians, I stayed up late to watch the American Presidential election results. The whole world watched, held it’s breath, and now like many I have a knot of dread in the pit of my stomach. This is the man you chose to lead? A realityTV star with a comb over who spews and incites racism and was video taped bragging about grabbing women by the p_ _ _ _ ?!!

    • tara17 says:

Fellow cdan here, haven’t felt this frozen with horror and disbelief since 2001. God help us all.

      • Piers says:

Move on to worrying about Prince Harry possibly marrying a black divorcee.

        • Gina says:

Your comment is entirely uncalled for. Why does it matter that Meghan Markle is biracial or divorced? She is a beautiful, educated, hard-working lady who gives back to people who are not as fortunate as her and she does it quietly and with dignity. At the end of the day, they are 2 people who have met and grown increasingly affectionate of each other and we should all just respect that and let them have their privacy instead of making bigoted and frankly stupid comments about them. You sir should hang your head in shame.

          • Collette says:

By all accounts from her family she’s a social climbing shrew with a princess complex. Wait until QEII lets loose.

          • Mary says:

Collette by all accounts you are one of the nastiest women who post on these boards. You’re one mean spirited individual, spreading rumors and innuendos without any proof. Your remarks reflect the type of person you truly are. It must have a very lonely life.

  8. Roni Gail says:

Not one woman thanked for her work. Only as support in the background. Misogynists have apparently take over again. It is worrying.

  9. Guest says:

Couldn’t be happier, the hard working citizens of America won today. The USA had hit rock bottom with Obama, we can only go up from here. Make America the great nation it once was again, Mr. President Donald Trump. Now hopefully all of this unlawfulness that has been plaguing our nation can be leashed in with the firm hand of the government!

    • Guest says:

      So naive

    • Angela says:

      Wrong. So very wrong.

    • Sjirk Bangma says:

I am truly worried for my American friends who have chosen the least experienced president ever to lead their nation. A president who has come to office with promises based on catchy slogans and whose failed businesses history should concern those who have an interest in the USA economy. This narcissistic person has fooled half the USA population.

      • Piers says:

How could anyone do more damage to America’s economy than Obama has? As for narcissistic, Obama is an ego in a suit. Are you kidding?

        • parstl says:

Obama pulled the country out of George Bush ‘ recession and brought class back to the white house
The problem is people don’t respect class anymore because they’re too busy watching reality tv.

    • Jamie says:

Posted this above, but it bears repeating:
Unemployment is at it’s lowest since our financial crisis/stock market crash during the Bush administration, and the Obama administration oversaw over 75 straight months of jobs growth. Our budget deficit has fallen considerably under the Obama administration, and our GDP has risen around 2% each year post “Great Recession”.

Please explain how the US “hit rock bottom” under Obama. Because the facts tell a different story…

    • Gary says:

You must be a pro drug warrior anti legalization Prohibitionist! Is that part of the “lawlessness” you refer to. I wish Obama had done more at a Federal level. I only hope the states continue with their “lawlessness” and continue legalizing cannabis state by state.

  10. UJU (Nigeria) says:

I think Trump has a clearly good vision for America. It is my hope that he will lead the greatest country in the world from leftism to the path of human dignity restored. Please Mr Trump, don’t send Hillary to jail.

  11. John NYC says:

Last I saw a 0.8% margin separates the two top candidates. A VERY purple nation all told.

  12. N!loofar says:

    😮😲☹️😔

  13. Suzanne says:

Maybe he said all those hate-filled words during the campaign just to get elected and now he’ll become a centrist? I mean, he wanted to put Secretary Clinton “in jail” during the debate, but now that he’s won he thanks her for her years of hard work and service to the country? Confusing. Who’s the real Donald here? Say prayers he’s not the racist, woman-hating guy with no clear plans that he has made himself out to be in his own words and actions over the last 18 months. Scary times ahead folks. Buckle your seat belts. Let’s hope, by the way, that those seat belts are made in America.

  14. Cobra says:

Stunned that America really did this. Unbelievable. We’re doomed.

  15. sam43231 says:

Fly your flag at half-staff today and wear black. I have never been so ashamed of my country.

  16. Elizabeth says:

In January, Conservatives will have complete control of Washington and that is terrifying. I feel so sick that our nation has chosen to take the path of destruction.

  17. This is just the first step. Power is held not just by corrupt government bureaucracies but the left has a huge shadow government hiding behind the façade of the United Nations & the CFR & Federal Reserve Ripping power away from this group will not be easy but must happen because they have an agenda to destroy our country

  18. Joe tackett says:

This is.why we are americans when we stand together we are able to conquer anything even a corupt system so don’t tread.on us

  19. Taven says:

Bravo! Victory well deserved. This proves that afterall there are smart portion of people in America who saw through Hitlery’s lies, deception etc. etc.
Poor feminazis like Rose Has-Been McGowan & the rest of the dumb celebrities i bet they are now eating themselves from the inside ahahaha. Also the apocalypse that would surely come if the evil old witch had won, is stopped now.

    • Mary says:

No this proves that we have many people who have no comprehension of the facts just hatred and fear. This proves that we have several who thinks going back in time instead of forward is the way to go. We have several people who thinks America is for a select few and not for ALL. We have several people who are naive and think that this man is going to bring jobs back to the US when in fact you will be paying more for what you purchase. We have several people who lack empathy for anyone but themselves. I knew they were out there but I didn’t realize we had so many. It might be a victory for Trump but I can guarantee it is not a victory for the US, which many of you might come to realize.

      • Taven says:

You do realize that i’m not american? And that i don’t really care that much for Trump except for his victory over a monster? Well if he screws u for real i won’t feel a pity at all cuz What.Goes.Around.Comes.Around. :)

        • Mary says:

Don’t care if you are American, I made statements that is fact. Well if you are not American then your opinion means s..t. If one has no stake in the game maybe they shouldn’t troll on a site that affects the majority of us. Get a life.

  20. Jacob says:

Good luck America your going to need it

    • Taven says:

Honestly i don’t care if he screws u people i won’t pity u cuz u deserve it but something tells me he won’t. Meanwhile if Killary had won..well the Apocalypse timer would start ticking.

      • Jacob says:

I just said good luck what’s wrong with that

      • Angela says:

Anyone who uses terms like “Killary” has lost any opportunity to have their arguments taken seriously. Grow up and act like a mature human being.

        • Taven says:

Angela the Talking Cat ur app on playstore sucks Ginger is better so stop giving me “moral speech” about “maturity” & turn on ur brain cuz it’s curentlly off. Let me guess, u are with her & u’re very proud member of femiNAZI community yadda yadda & u can’t stop crying cuz well…”her story” is now over.

          • Angela says:

I have no idea what that nonsense jumble of words was supposed to mean or say. But thanks for proving people’s point about ignorance.

” I congratulated her and her family on a very hard-fought campaign. She fought very hard. Hillary has worked very long and very hard over a long period of time, and we owe her a major debt of gratitude for her service to our country.”
            ~donald trump

just remember that your boy even sees hillary aint what you brown shirts say she is. you all are LIARS and im not even a liberal but I know hillary isn’t what you say she is.I voted for Hillary because i thought
she would be better than trump and i’m an x republican now an independent who voted the way I felt best.
trump only won because the elector votes.

  21. Taven says:

Donald Trump is a person who doesn’t do sugarcoating instead he speaks the way he means it. The truth hurts for some maybe you “people” should do a lil bit of research about the wicked witch u suppport(ed). Haha she didn’t even personally thanked u for ur endless support pathetic but that’s whatvu deserved.

    • Mary says:

Ever heard of diplomacy or for that matter human decency. A mature individual can make their point without attacking and demoralizing. A President need to be level headed and if you cannot comprehend that then we truly are a nation of uneducated.

  22. Manuel says:

    Great win President Trump.

Bye bye femiNAZIs along with almost to be over year 2016. A new era has ushered how great!

  27. Taven says:

I’ve picked a lesser evil & that’s him for the sake of the whole world.

  28. Jacob says:

    Dear America
I’m British but I care about this because my country was already dragged in to one pointless war by yours and also you’ve elected an other global warming denier so we’re just that bit closer to the post apocalyptic wasteland I have nightmares about thanks. Also thanks to this Isis recruitment is going to go through the roof now and your new president once said why not use nuclear weapons again we’re seeing that wasteland in the world future.
I’d also like to say to women who voted for trump I pity you I really do that you value your selfs so little that you would vote for a man like that also when it comes to religion do you really think Jesus a man who said love thy neighbour who was all about compassion would be for a man like trump.
Lastly there are two quotes I want you to hear no course is lost as long as there one fool left to fight for it and what’s at the end of 1984 if you want to see the future imagine a boot stapling down on a face forever America you decided witch one you want to be

    • Taven says:

And Killary is a good woman? U have no idea what u & the whole world just dodged cuz if by any chance she had won…luckily she didn’t.

    • Rock maclinbird says:

Your British we’re finally taking back our country you have no say in what we do in the words of DJ Trump…..”you can tell them to go f*** themselves “

    • Piers says:

Have you forgotten that you Brits begged America to save your rears in WW I & WW II?

      • Jacob says:

One that’s not true what ever you might want to believe and it was 70 odd years ago clearly if you can’t come up with something more recent to add you must think I have point. Also quick history lesson who was it who broke the unbreakable nazi code that helped US win the war o yes it was the British it was a team effort if your not going to say something relevant don’t say anything

        • Collette says:

They had the time to break the code because of Yankee support. Otherwise they would have been under Nazi rule before they broke the code. I thoughts Brits were fair. You clearly are an exception.

          • Jacob says:

Actually I think you will find we started to have break throughs with breaking the code between 1939 and 1940 you lot entered the war in 1941 so we had a massive win before you entered the war and you say I’m not fair but your the one who isn’t being fair to my nation because all I won’t people like you to say is that it was a team effort don’t you think that’s fair.

  29. ragnar51 says:

For me, I’m excited about the exodus of all those who said they were going to Canada if Trump won :) So goodbye amy schumer, al sharpton, bryan cranston. Don’t let the gate hit you on the way out although with schumer it gonna be hard.

    • Piers says:

Don’t forget Cher. She’s leaving the planet. All of the Hollywood mental midgets are dazed and confused and coming to the realization that they are not as influential as they’d believed.

      • Angela says:

But a reality TV star with zero political experience of any sort becoming president is TOTALLY okay, right?
        .
Seriously, I will never understand the people who whine and moan about celebrities getting involved in politics only to turn around and support Trump becoming a politician. He’s a celebrity, too, geniuses.

        • ragnar51 says:

Angela, perhaps you need to read the post again or get someone to explain it to you. I can’t recall ANY Trump supporters or Republicans for that matter sating they would leave the country if Hillary won the election, but I think you already knew that.

          • Angela says:

Just because you didn’t hear it doesn’t automatically mean they weren’t considering it.
            .
And I don’t care about the “leaving the country” part of the above post. I was merely just commenting on the hypocrisy of people saying celebrities don’t have influence on politics when clearly Trump’s victory proves that’s not true. I just don’t get people mocking liberal celebrities for getting involved in politics and sharing their opinions while looking the other way when conservatives ones do the exact same thing, and actually run FOR and win political office besides.

        • sandy says:

Yep, his celebrity status helped him win this election and the electors helped his numbers go up after he won the 4 other states. I think Hillary won until the few electors didnt vote for her (and all it takes is a few electors) and then she lost the states she won.

  30. Mary says:

Well we live in a democracy and he won so I will accept it. I will say that this is the first time in
my life that I do not respect the new President of the US. I cannot and will not respect someone who demoralizes people. I won’t stoop as low as many has with Obama but I think it is sad that a man with such character flaws was elected to the high office of our FREE Country.

    • Paul says:

America is not a democracy. It’s a democratic Republic. There’s a difference that you’d be well advised to learn. Say the Pledge of Allegiance to yourself. “to the Republic for which it stands”. Nowhere in the US Declaration or the US Constitution does it declare itself as a democracy.

      • Mary says:

Well the US Constitution states EQUAL RIGHTS FOR ALL. You get my point.

        • Piers says:

Read it again. At the time it was written slavery existed, women couldn’t vote, you couldn’t divorce an insane spouse and miscegenation was illegal. Democracy means majority rules; with an electoral college that is negated.

  31. LM says:

Matthew Dowd from Good Morning America: She (Hillary Clinton) is going to win the popular vote by a fairly large margin, a million to a million (point) five votes. Right now, Donald Trump as less votes than John McCain did when he lost to Barack Obama in 2008, and Mitt Romney did when he lost when he lost to Barack Obama in 2012.

Three to four million Democrats that did not show up and vote yesterday. This election will have the lowest turnout, percentage wise, in twenty years.” (Source: GMA 2016.11.09)

  32. Cas says:

I feel like the speech was decent. However, some of these comments are what worries me about the future. Treating people like this just because they don’t share your views? If a woman was running for President with no experience we would be up in arms but it is okay for a man. I’m also concerned that so many people think what he says is the truth. With all of that said, did anyone actually look at his policies? They aren’t half bad but from an economic stand point they aren’t possible either unless we plan on increasing our debt by a huge amount.

    • April says:

Well, you have to remember that this is the man who goes from one bankruptcy to another.

      • Piers says:

Bankruptcy is legal. Fraud, sedition and lying to Congress are not. That’s the difference between Trump and Clinton and Americans saw that.

        • Cas says:

Well until you are convicted of a crime you are innocent or is that not how it works? For the record doesn’t he have a pending racketeering lawsuit? Which is not legal. And not paying his contractors is also not legal.

          • Collette says:

Not felonious either. Bottom line is the most important issue was who will appoint the new Supreme Court justices and stop the runaway gravy train that is the Democratic platform. Able bodied recipients of government handouts should have to work community service hours commensurate to their payment based on minimum wage in their state. That goes for food stamps, rent vouchers, heat assistance, aid to dependent children etc. Lots of programs out there where they can participate from cleaning up public areas, shoveling sidewalks, raking leaves or reading to shut-ins, etc. No shortage of jobs for idle hands.

Really hope Trump gets his one and only term as POTUS until 2020. How much of a disappointment the United States will be in the next four years?

  34. John B says:

It is amazing that his campaign was successful, but it shows how much we are fed up with an administration that has done what it wanted to do and ignored what the millions of Americans had hoped they would do.
Trump and Pence have there hands full now, so with the efforts of the right cabinet members, a united citizenry, and God’s help, we will be American proud and strong once again.

  35. kevin says:

    its just amazing.

  36. Aluna says:

    its just amazing.

  37. V.E.G. says:

    Congratulations, Donald Trump! Well done!

  38. Gina says:

So The Donald is going to be President. Unfrikkinbelievable. A country would rather have a racist, sexist, bigoted pillock who brags about assaulting women, makes fun of the disabled, is prepared to commit war crimes, threatened to jail his opponent, lies about his wealth, doesn’t pay his taxes, has numerous failed businesses and no political experience than to vote for a WOMAN who has decades of experience both at home and abroad, has already been First Lady so knows pretty much everything about how the Whitehouse runs, who was investigated twice by the FBI regarding emails and has twice been exonerated and who throughout the whole election process has remained quietly dignified. America, I feel so sorry for you right now, you have just sentenced yourselves to 4 years with a 71 yr old baby who will whine, fillibuster, bully, brag and lie to get his own way and, worst of all, no doubt plaster his name in big gold letters as he takes up office and moves into the Trumphouse.

    • Piers says:

As opposed to having a witch who is evil incarnate and is owned by countries that subjugate women, execute gays and declare jihad against me? You bet. Not to mention that there was no way she should be the one to appoint the next Supreme Court justices. As for Obamacare and other Democratic giveaways at taxpayers expense, the wheels just came off of that gravy train.

  39. kmw says:

Good luck to this country of ours. We are going to need a lot of it for 4 years

  40. John Borham says:

I am very happy for the triumph. Never forget the God-factor. Remember: “In God We Trust.”
God will guide and help you.

  41. Dark Humphrey Adrabo A says:

I was damn optimistic that Trump was gonna take it all, He was quite honest, courageous and above all very charismatic inhis talks that very many got attracted and where always pondering his next move, as in his the kind you would wanna listen to again and after unlike lewinsky who was not any new though gave a very good offensive- which is what the game is suppose to be like let alone her conceding coz remember President T already suspected or foresaw a Rig by her Team…….

  42. jim j eberlyj says:

I’m vet and I’m so happy it brings tears to my eyes thank you mr. Trump and thank you fellow Americans I love this country and fought for four years. .today I’m proud of my country again god bless all of you.

  43. BiteMe says:

I’m really sick of all the dumb republicans posting on here. You’re not supposed to vote your party; that’s not what democracy is. You vote what’s best for the nation. And Trump is not it. And for all you old people posting that Obama did nothing, go screw yourselves. Just because you’re racists like Trump doesn’t mean nothing got done. In fact, it’s quite the opposite. Because like many people mentioned, he’s placed healthcare within everyone’s reach, pulled us out of a terrible depression, and, on top of many other things, helped to legalize Marijuana, which is one of the BEST medicines available out there for people as it offers cures and relief from pain, and legalizing it in the areas it has been has reduced the crime rates there. This country is a melting pot, made up of every country imaginable since the beginning. How can someone stand in power over a country like this and is a complete racist, disqualifying anyone who may be of a race that is not his own, and running smear campaigns saying that if Hilary were elected, then (because apparently this one woman’s son was killed by an “immigrant” she says) what, all “minorities” (I hate that stupid word and I wouldn’t even be considered to be in that group, but everyone is equal and shouldn’t be defined as a majority or minority—we’re people, for God’s sake) are going to go murder someone? I hope that lady realizes that it isn’t people who aren’t “white like her” committing all the crime in this country, “white” people make mistakes too. In addition to that, Obama never demeaned women, like Trump does. If you are a woman, or even a man with a wife or daughter, you should never have consciously voted for this reject that you’re going to call president in a few months. Who the hell makes it okay for men to go out there touching women however the hell they please? Or saying that if a woman’s tits or ass aren’t big enough she’s not even a woman or worthwhile? I can’t believe anyone would ever want this for their kids. You’re teaching men and young boys that it’s okay to treat women like this, and it’s going to make girls and women think that that conduct is okay and IT’S NOT. There’s already enough rape and assault in this country without the president backing those actions through his own actions and words. Get a fricken clue, America.

  44. Bark Star says:

The world is so ashamed of America right now.

  45. Hurlinghamz says:

Regarding Trumps acceptance speech – I have looked through many comments sections, but could not find any comments by Trump supporters about how Trump graciously thanked Hillary for her years of service. Given that at every Trump rally there were cries of “lock her up”….what do Trump supporters think of his nice comments about Hillary? This is what Trump said….
” Hillary has worked very long and very hard over a long period of time, and we owe her a major debt of gratitude for her service to our country. I mean that very sincerely.”
That doesn’t sound like he’s going to lock her up or prosecute her at all.

  46. George paye says:

Donald Trump has done it and the international communities will support his dreams and may God bless the great America.

  47. I hope that’s true. And yet he has threatened to jail her.
