World Series Ratings Game 3

Ratings: World Series Game 3 Delivers 12-Year Audience High; H50 Ties Low

Fox’s broadcast of the Cleveland Indians’ nailbiter 1-0 win over the Chicago Cubs on Friday night drew 19.38 million total viewers and a 5.2 demo rating (per finals), rising versus this World Series’ second match-up and up sharply from last year’s Game 3.

It also marks the most-watched Game 3 since Red Sox/Cardinals 2004.

Indians/Cubs Game 1 thus remains the most-watched of the series thus far, having delivered 19.4 million viewers (with a 5.6 rating).

Up against the Fall Classic….

THE CW | Vampire Diaries (900K/0.3) dipped, while and Crazy Ex (450K/0.2) matched its season premiere rating.

CBS | MacGyver (7.3 mil/0.9) ticked down to season lows, Hawaii Five-0 (8.5 mil/1.0) slipped two tenths to match its all-time demo low and Blue Bloods (8.9 mil/1.1) was steady.

ABC | Leading out of a Great Pumpkin rebroadcast (4.1 mil/1.1), Shark Tank (4.4 mil/1.1) slipped 19 percent and two tenths, tying its all-time demo low.

NBC | Caught on Camera (2.7 mil/0.6) held steady.

Couldn’t agree more. Moving to the Friday night dead zone is bad news for a series.

But Friday also has a lower ratings threshold; no one *expects* it to get the same ratings as on Monday. And I’m not convinced The CW will be in any hurry to drop the show that just won it two Emmy Awards.

When the cliffhanger for first TVD episode of their final season is Steroline moving together, no thanks I didn’t want to watch the second episode, and hell I was right.

Tvd keep loosing viewers and I’m not even surprised anymore!people don’t enjoy these stupid storylines aka Kids, weddings or these human things..we’re talking about a VAMPIRE show! We want action and blood not this! Plus Steroline is trash! You just need to check the social media to understand it!what a flop
