Being Mary Jane Michael Ealy

TVLine Items: Being Mary Jane Adds Michael Ealy, Riverdale Scoop and More

Michael Ealy is going to make Being Mary Jane‘s workplace a touch more hostile in Season 4.

The TV vet (The Following, Almost Human) has joined the BET drama as the new producer of Great Day USA — and the man who got Mary Jane fired from CNN, our sister site Deadline reports.

Ealy’s Justin Talbot remains a thorn in the news anchor’s side, forcing her to cleverly circumvent his power plays.

Ealy currently stars on ABC’s anthology series Secrets and Lies.

  1. Collette says:

Love Michael Ealy. I wish he’d star in something that would run for years. I think he’d be great in something like a dramedy along the lines of Hudson Hawk. Maybe a bar owner who moonlights as an investigator with a Danny Aiello type older sidekick [ maybe Michael DeLouise] they’d be hell on wheels.

  2. HAP says:

Dude was born Michael Brown. Where did Ealy come from?

    • Collette says:

Stage name? After all Cary Grant was born Archie Leach, Snoop wasn’t born Snoop. Queen Latifah wasn’t born with that name and Jon Bon Jovi was Bongiovi. Maybe it’s a family name generations back. Problem?

  3. SoMuchHope says:

It seems like he’s everywhere all of a sudden. That, in no means, is a complaint just a Yay!
