Fall TV Preview

Legends of Tomorrow Trailer: Get a First Look at The CW's Four-Way Crossover

Leave it to Legends of Tomorrow to bring us a treat from the future: the first footage from this fall’s crossover event between the time-hopping series, Supergirl, The Flash and Arrow.

In the newly released trailer for Season 2 of Legends, Barry Allen circa 2056 contacts the Waverider team with a somber message: “I can’t risk putting any more lives in danger.” Could the call have something to do with the Dominators, the alien race The CW’s four super shows will be battling? The scene is followed up by a shot of Supergirl, Green Arrow, The Flash, Heat Wave and more uniting on a rooftop.

The sneak peek is also jam-packed with juicy teasers for Legends, like:

* The Justice Society of America in action.

* Ray battling a dino. (Yes, you read that correctly.)

* Sara putting all samurai to shame. “It’s like Ninja 3: Domination,” Mick remarks.

* The returns of Jonah Hex and Captain Cold, as well as Damien Darhk and Reverse-Flash’s evil team-up.

Legends of Tomorrow returns next Thursday, Oct. 13 at 8/7c on The CW; the four-show crossover airs later this fall.

Very promising for season 2 of LoT. I hope it’s much better than season 1. Nice to see a scene of the 4 way crossover including SUPERGIRL, ARROW and THE FLASH.

  6. Rick Katze says:

The CW is doing everything it can to tie the 4 shows together so that people will watch them all. In this I think they are succeeding. In this I think they are succeeding. A first season for shows like this need to set up a lot of background. Now that they have it, hopefully the writers will do their thing.
