Joss Whedon Recruits Stars of Buffy, HIMYM, Grey's, Castle, SNL, S.H.I.E.L.D. for Anti-Trump PSA — Watch Video

Joss Whedon has assembled one of his largest casts ever to speak out against Donald Trump, “a racist, abusive coward who could permanently damage the fabric of our society.”

The Avengers director has released a new star-studded “Save the Day” PSA to encourage people to get out on Election Day and vote for Hillary Clinton. Featuring A-list talent like Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo and Julianne Moore, the video encourages people to put an end to “this nightmare before it even begins” and elect the candidate who isn’t famous for firing people.

Among the many TV stars featured in the LOL video: Nathan Fillion (Castle), Clark Gregg (Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Jesse Williams (Grey’s Anatomy), James Franco (11.22.63), Neil Patrick Harris and Cobie Smulders (How I Met Your Mother), Taran Killam (Saturday Night Live), Yvette Nicole Brown (The Odd Couple), Tom Lenk (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) Bradley Whitford (Transparent), Keegan-Michael Key (Key & Peele), Matt McGorry (How to Get Away With Murder), Randall Park (Fresh Off the Boat), Ashley Johnson (Blindspot), Stanley Tucci (Fortitude), Leslie Odom Jr. (Smash), Don Cheadle (House of Lies) and Martin Sheen (Grace and Frankie).

Watch the call-to-action above, then sound off in the comments.

Comments are monitored, so don’t go off topic, don’t frakkin’ curse and don’t bore us with how much your coworker’s sister-in-law makes per hour. Talk smart about TV!

  1. MJ says:

That was an impressive video and I’m glad it was created. Everyone needs to vote.

    • Pendelton Dempsey says:

Who in their right mind gives any credence to what anyone in Hollywood has to say about a presidential election or anything else for that matter, just because you act, direct or produce television or movies does not give you anymore intelligence or information regarding political candidates or social issues. SHAME on any voter that takes their cues from Hollywood, the most morally corrupt society on this earth.

I guess this “PSA” scores another one for the CLINTON CRIME FAMILY.

      • Don’t worry, this video has not influenced my decision in any way, except maybe to reinforce it in some small way.

      • AdamB says:

Well, clearly, they are more educated and in touch with reality than you. I guess Trump’s fraudulent business practices, racial discrimination in housing, misuse of foundation funds, and sexual assault accusations just roll off your back, right?

        • Kris says:

You mean like the sexual assault allegations against Bill Clinton? And the accusations that Hillary Clinton threatened the victims?

For the record, I am not voting for Trump, but let’s not pretend that Hillary is much better than Trump. I might trust her more with nukes, but she accepts money from countries like Saudi Arabia, abstructs laws and justice, thinks she is above the law (and is unfortunately is right), misuse of foundation funds way worse than Trump (from countries and people that are far worse than Trump- those people do exist), and came out out for gay marriage after Fmr Vice President Dick Cheney. So yes, you can say Trump represents a part of America that is not progressive in their opinions, but do not forget that Hillary represents the obscene corruption of the revolving door, power, and the influence of the government and money. And the people telling us to vote for her make more money than Trump.

I am just saying: Perspective. That is the reality. You can critic Trump for all of those things, just do not put on blinders and pretend that Hillary does not do the same things with a better PR team.

          • chasly says:

“I might trust her more with nukes”. Think about what you just said. She wasn’t my first choice. My first choice has never been the nominee. At this point we have a binary choice. A viable third party candidate would be nice. We don’t have that choice this go around. Allowing the candidate you can’t trust with nuclear weapons to win is insane. The difference between a hardcore progressive and Clinton is signficant, but not the end of the world. The difference between Clinton and Trump might just be the end of the world.

          • Jerri says:

Trump accepts money from the Middle East as well. He’s got a whole golf resort and property with his name on it In Dubai. I don’t see people crucifying him for that. Oh right, that’s a ” business thing”, so it’s ok.

          • Bert Milton says:

Let’s not forget how Bill probably damaged national Security more than any president in history. Bill set up a deal with China in which China would launch our communication satellites into orbit. DOD opposed it, so he transferred oversight of the technology to Dept of Commerce, who went along with it. Here’s the odd thing. China could never get their rockets out of the atmosphere. they either crashed or exploded. So their first attempt, their rocket crashes and they blame the satellite provider, Boeing. Boeing techs go over, investigate, tells them their gyros are the problem and shows them how to fix it. They used that fix on their nuclear ICBM’s, which could never hit the US before. They can easily now. Since then, they’ve threatened to nuke the west coast several times. Experts say that fix advanced their missile program about 10 years. Clinton campaign was later busted accepting a $300,000 re-election contribution from the Chinese via some monks in LA who’d reportedly taken a vow of poverty. Coincidence?
We also bombed Iraq for 4 days in Dec 98 (Desert Fox) when Bill was being impeached. He claimed we were at war and he couldn’t be impeached during a war. As soon as Congress said the hearings would continue, we stopped bombing. I had a front row seat on the ship doing the bombing (USS Enterprise CVN-65). Amazing the lengths a Clinton will go to save his own hide.

          • No. Hillary has a terrible PR team, that’s why misinformed voters like yourself are so confused as to the facts and instead “feel” that both candidates can be painted with the same brush. Trump has been mirror arguing you until you’ve actually decided Hilary is glue. Trump has broken actual laws– IRS fines, housing discrimination, labor law violations. Some of which he is still in court for fraud. Some of which are new investigations–bribery, self-dealing. Hilary had an email server that hurt no one, was similar to what other Secretaries of State did and after months of digging no one has found anything actionable. She has a foundation that provides aids medication to millions of people, fights climate change, education issues and childhood obesity.

Take your finger off the scale.

          • Fred Smith says:

“misuse of foundation funds way worse than Trump”

The Clinton Foundation gets A ratings from major charity watchdogs, with a stellar program to overhead ratio. Nobody on the board draws a salary.

Misuse of funds? You mean they’re spending too much money fighting malaria when they should be fighting HIV?

Look, I know that in the fever swamp of the right-wing blogs, people who don’t know much about how charity functions like to bleat about how the Clinton Foundation is corrupt. It’s their job to say silly things.

But here’s the thing: you don’t need to carry water for them.

          • Derek Hird says:

Or like Trump who was accused of Rape
Or like Trump who also takes money from the Saudi’s as did the Bushes.

Both are not good choices but of the 2, only one won’t destroy the country with blind hatred and blatant racism.

          • shir says:

She is slowly selling The US out one crime at a time.
If she gets elected- it means that people like a liar and a crook at the helm.

        • Temperance says:

And the fact that Trump’s been convicted of a crime, on average, once every other week of his lifetime, and Clinton has been convicted ZERO times – despite being the most scrutinized person on the planet. ZERO TIMES. You’ve got nothing on that issue, bub.

          • Scott says:

Can you prove hes been ” convicted of a crime. on average , every other week..” sounds like you’re lying.

          • Temperance says:

The citation are available all over – do a search for the article. It’s not like these convictions aren’t in the public record. Trump’s going to court, charged with rape, but the end of the November. There is a different case as well that could result in jail time, and there are two new investigations in the last three weeks, the more likely one to generate jail time was bribing Pam Biondi not to prosecute him for Trump University.

          • Theresa Steward says:

Do you understand the Justice System? Violation of Regulations ARE NOT Crimes. They are Civil Fines. Please learn the difference between Civil and Criminal LAW!

        • Victor Casas says:

No, this election is like choosing to eat feces or vomit. Trump is a narcissistic megalomaniac, whose vision for economic bullying, isolationism, and insane tarriffs are disastrous, however the alternative is just as bad, a power-mad woman who is incapable of being accountable, or honest with executive priviledge, when she was incapable of following the rules and regulations of her job at State, and refuses to cooperate with Congress now, who also literally led to the JAILING of a US Citizen for making a movie about a religion so she could score some political points is equally repulsive.

The whole matter seems to me to hinge on the appointment of a replacement for Scalia, and if Hilary were to name a strict constructionist as a replacement, she would have my vote, however, she won’t, which pushes me to the Trump camp. The impact of that one appointment will have more far reaching consequences than anything either of the buffoons is capable of.

          • Kt says:

Just add bad??!?? That i s like saying Satan is just add bad as Margaret Thatcher. Grow up and read something outside your right wing echo chamber!

          • Temperance says:

Hardly. You can’t call the most qualified person (and the cleanest, via 26 years of non-stop invesitgations) on the planet for the Job – HRC – feces or vomit. Of course, if you swallow the FOXwash, I can see why everything would taste bad. Fake information is like that. False equivalencies will get you no where, you might no like Clinton but Trump needs to be in an asylum.

          • Brenda Anderson says:

why is it when a conservative tries to express an opinion, he is “FOXwashed” – is this like when a liberal expresses their opinion, they are “CNNwashed”?

        • James Bond says:

Maybe these clowns should look up the definition of what a racist really is.

        • Theresa Steward says:

You are parroting Lies. Donald Trump is not responsible for acts done by Sub Contractors and Independents working for him. He never told them to violate regulations. So grow up!

        • vivienne m says:

Say it again my brother. Clearly everyone has blinders over there eyes. It will be like brixton where more than half of the voters are calling for a revote because they didn’t realise the mistake they made. Only when Trump turns Hilter on all those who are not fully rednecks then they will understand what the Nazi camp was really about up front and personal. Now there, I have said my piece.

      • they didnt say anything about voting for billary.

      • Chris says:

Trump is literally a Hollywood reality star. Good job proving your own opinion wrong in one fell swoop.

      • Colleen says:

        Hell yeah, my thoughts exactly!!

      • Kevin says:

Why are you on an Entertainment website if you feel hollywood is so corrupt? hypocrisy? i hope you don’t own a tv, radio…and why are you on the internet other than to send email and get infomation like encyolopedia like entries?

      • Marie W. says:

You are? Because you’re an idiot who cared enough to get offended and comment about it. :)

      • Gwen Loomis says:

People in Hollywood have just as much right to express an opinion on this election as you do to post a comment on this website. Or do you think the First Amendment just applies to people who agree with you? Shame on YOU!

        • Temperance says:

I think it goes over the heads of the drones that these are Trump’s PEERS commenting. The other billionaires (if he’s a billionaire) can’t stand him either.

      • Margie says:

Apparently you do because you are supporting a reality tv star for President. Do you recognize the hypocrisy?

        • Theresa Steward says:

Trump is Not a Reality Star. He has built 500+ companies which not everyone can do! I would like to see a Reality Star create even 3 companies!

      • Yet I bet you loved Reagan.

      • Temperance says:

You do realize, that is gibbering nonsense, right. You know, Trump being, in part, a television personality. If Trump is valid, then they are valid. You might consider getting those logic circuits fixed.

        • Theresa Steward says:

No TV Personality creates a company little alone 500+ of them. Your comparison is weak!

          • Ron Mollins says:

What 500 companies? Do you have a source for this figure? And do Trump Steaks, Trump U., Trump Ties, etc count as “companies.?” How many of them failed and how many were just self-promoting shams? ANd making up businesses has no relevance to one’s character or one”s ability to lead a country. A lot of successful entrepreneurs are, or should be in prison. The people who tanked the economy in 2008 were successful businessmen. Neither they, nor Donald Trump deserve anyone’s admiration.

        • Bigref says:

Logic circuits. How about just empirical evidence? Trump is a real estate developer and contractor and spent a little time out of his life on a TV show. Clinton has never built anything, hired anyone and has directly screwed many people through Whitewater and the Rose Law firm. Investors, Trump lost money for certified knowledgeable investors (that is a legal term, look it up). Hillary lost money for ordinary investors in what was always a sham, Then, in the Senate, she was a strong proponent of the Chrysler/GM government sponsored bankruptcy. Thousands of tiny investors in those two companies lost their life savings. So Trump has beaten some big time investors while looking them in the eye while Clinton has beaten thousands of small time buyers while hiding under her resume.

      • James says:

That’s right – don’t listen to actors, but vote for a guy who’s major success in life is a reality TV show… common sense prevails. Forget the business success – there are enough ruined lives throughout the US to bear testament to how he runs a business.

      • Wooster182 says:

You realize we elected a failed Hollywood actor to be one of our most revered presidents right?

        • Blue Beach Bay says:

          Failed…..naahhh…B list, maybe…but solid A president.

          • Mary says:

Sorry I wouldn’t give Reagan a solid A. Personable, nice but his trickle down policies did work. C+ or B- tops. I will say that Reagan had more class than Trump. Take a look at his policies people you all complain of the debt we have now, you do realize it will be worse if Trump is elected.

      • Angela says:

I have to say, I love that people are complaining about celebrities influencing voters…and yet there are many in this country that see nothing wrong with Trump, who is a (say it with me now) CELEBRITY, running for freaking president, and even going so far as to support and vote for him.
If people are tired of celebrities spouting off about and getting involved in politics, then maybe, when people like Trump, or years ago, Schwartzenegger, decide to run for notable political offices, the public should actually try saying, “Hahahaha…NO” and not vote for or support them. So long as people keep voting for them, though, then it seems pointless to gripe when they get politically involved.
Besides that, last I checked, a) celebrities are citizens just like you and me and are therefore allowed to share their political views just like all of us non-famous people are doing here (seriously, what makes us any more or less qualified than a celebrity to share our political opinions, and b) nobody has a gun to their head and is being FORCED to agree with the celebrities’ views in this video. If somebody disagrees with them, all they have to do is…turn off the video. Voila. Problem solved.

        • Theresa Steward says:

Trump is a Celebrity? Hardly! Celebrity’s job is to be famous. Donald Trump’s job is to create wealth through the Free Enterprise System.

          • Kat says:

As far as I can tell, Trump’s job has been to plaster the name “Trump” all over the country in numerous failed enterprises and talk about himself instead of anything of substance. Sounds kind of like a celebrity to me.

      • It should be illegal for famous people to endorse a candidate…

        • Kat says:

It should be illegal for people to express an opinion? You know, the whole idea that our country is founded on? Congratulations, you’re a fascist.

      • Kt says:

Seriously?? There is no comparison. She may be a career politician, but she has done some great things. He is just freakin’ scary, scary, scary, no matter how you view it.

      • Frustrated says:

Just because ppl are famous doesn’t make them informed or intelligent. Bahhhhh ~ just a bunch of sheep. Like the idiots who won’t stand for the National Anthem. Let’s not do our own research, just follow what some other meat head did

        • DJ Doena says:

What? People not standing up for the national anthem? Where do they think they are? America? This is Soviet Russia! How dare they not being uniform and pledge allegiance to Vladimir Lenin?

Oh wait, you’re actually talking about America. My bad.

      • Kat says:

No one said they had more intelligence or information than anyone else. They have the same information as everyone else and are asking voters to think about the future and exercise their right to vote. They are making the point that every person, celebrity or not, has an equal vote and an equal say in what happens to this country, so to make sure to make your voice heard. Also, I don’t know if you actually watched the video, but they don’t mention the Clinton name once.

      • Shank says:

You mean people like Ronald Reagan? Arnold? Thompson? Eastwood? Those kind of people?
James Franco has a Bachelors, MFA and PhD degree. What makes you think he’s incapable of critical thinking?

      • Bill says:

My family will never watch any of their productions again…they are over priced whores

      • Cricket Blake says:

I loved this! I’m voting for Trump! Our choice is to vote for the pathological, prevaricator who is part of the political elite that never saw a law that applied to her, or for the non-politician. Vote! Vote for the non-politician and cronyism ENDS!

      • cricket90265 says:

I loved this! I’m voting for Trump! Our choice is to vote for the pathological, prevaricator who is part of the political elite that never saw a law that applied to her, or for the non-politician. Vote! Vote for the non-politician and cronyism ENDS!

      • Robert Paul says:

Bunch of people that have never done anything important. They only pretend. Why should I pay attention to them?

      • And you think someone gives credence to what you say? Who the Hell are you?

      • Derek Hird says:

Using your point….. Hollywood/TV people shouldn’t have a voice….. Then Mr. Reality Star Trump should not be running.

or in that case, no child / person every should like up to any TV/Film person or athlete as a Hero or someone to listen to.

      • Linda says:

So you would rather have a reality tv star lead this country?

      • Viv says:

BAH-hahahahaaa… the fact that you would take the time to rant on a Hollywood magazine comment section speaks volumes about how much money and time you actually give to Hollywood.
A hard-working, factory town just like any other: just like coal, cars, software. food-packers, etc. These people work there 19 hour shifts just like everybody else. They are carpenters, electricians, nurses, writers, caterers, janitors, and yes a few actors. Who worry and work to feed their children and shelter their spouses just as hard as you do. The only difference is actors have to keep interviewing for their jobs every single day of their life. Their jobs are never, ever safe. So yeah, the working-class entertainment industry might be liberal. But the producers, Studio Executives, corporations and banks and insurance companies that own them like Murdoch and Adelson and the Koch brothers are not. Now go talk to YOUR people about their greed & depravities — ’cause “Hollywood” is just a really, small, poor street in the middle of a broke city called Los Angeles.

Thank you Joss Whedon! I love you man…

      • shir says:

Thank you for that great comment.
Hollywood never learns that they don’t elect presidents -the average person does.
Was a fan of Josh- that is gone.
Have his movie because of Nathan- that movie will be gone.

      • Xcelsia says:

You want my personal opinion on this matter(not like it’s any of my buisness), they are BOTH Bad. Your job is to decide which is better, or take the third way out. Now which is better, worst or WORST, you decide which is which.

      • Common Sense says:

Because anyone who has the sense God gave a flea knows Donald Trump shouldn’t be dog catcher, let alone president.

      • Crime family!? That’s hysterical….when Trump has been involved in 5,000 lawsuits. That’s normal? 5,000 LAWSUITS? The Clintons aren’t racist, homophobic, anti abortion or anti gay, anti science nut bags. Shame on anyone who doesn’t listen to people based on their professions.

      • Dixy says:

I wonder if people in the US realise that every other country thinks the US is crazy for having a nutcase like Trump run for it’s highest office.

      • Tracy says:

Ummm you do realize the other candidate is a reality tv star right? Are you just now realizing Hollywood influences things?- and as far as your Clinton crime family cooment where exactly are your sources coming from?

    • nunya bizness says:

Whedon has the nerve to intimate that Trump is a racist when it was hillary’s husband the former president that made the comment to ted kennedy about obama that “a few years ago this guy would be serving us coffee”. Remind me – who is the racist here? anyone?

      • adambravo says:

Yes, because a single offhanded comment made in private by a candidate’s spouse is absolutely identical to numerous public statements and announced policies of the GOP nominee.

        • nunya bizness says:

So something that is said in private doesn’t mean anything? This is the president that purported to be the ‘first black president’ because of his views. How naive of you to think that private comments mean nothing . In truth they mean everything. They show the true feelings of the speaker.

          • Mary says:

In private Trump and his father didn’t rent to black people, so I think you statement just proves he is racist. In private he paid off the AG so his suit would be dropped. In private and on national TV he states that Women shouldn’t have been allowed in military so it was their fault for military rape. So his real truth has been spoken and yet you and many others can’t face the facts about him. I think that is what you call being a hypocrite.

          • PatriciaLee says:

For the record, my understanding is that Toni Morrison said that about him.

          • Temperance says:

            1. Prove it. 2 Prove Intent. We can do BOTH for Trump a million times over. Every white supremacist group in the nation is gaga over Trump for a reason – and they loathe Clinton.

        • Chris says:

I don’t know why I can’t “like” your comment, so I have to type one out to say you just nailed it. You nailed a great deal of the Trump campaign supporter’s hypocrisy when it comes to racism. They play the “yeah, but… *insert much less volatile thing a Clinton has done to distract from overt things Trump does*.”

          • Lucifer says:

Yeah, let’s just forget about the whole super predators speech to help create the prison industrial complex.

        • Scott says:

Yeah , I guess , like CHEADLE, you forget she endorsed Robert Byrd, a KLANSMAN, and called him her mentor and also said we need to bring gangs of black youths ” to heel”

Also , Trump also hasn’t failed at any government job or had a sever exposed to hacking like Hillary has, plus, lied repeatedly about her job, or health is so bad she’s unfit to run. OR even bungled something so simple as to find out the proper Russian word for ” RESET.”

          • Fred Smith says:

Scott, when people point out to you that both Obama and the NAACP said very nice things about Robert Byrd when he died, how do you reconcile that with your world view?

Seriously, help us understand. Are Obama and the NAACP part of the KKK conspiracy or something?

Obama and the NAACP understood that he reformed decades ago. So do many, many other people who knew him. It seems like you’re clinging to the idea that this somehow isn’t true. What’s your evidence?

      • Emma says:

Trump is the racist. And so is half of America apparently. Sad state of affairs in your country right now. It’s scary how divided your country is, good luck with whatever outcome occurs, hopefully you can all learn to live together for humanity’s sake.

      • Once again they didnt endorse Hillary either

        • They explicitly mentioned two choices – not three or four. So the message and endorsement was pretty clear.

          • Mary says:

Two choices being Democrat or Republican, because the third parties don’t have a chance and everyone knows it. I think they were putting out the message you should go VOTE. I believe there was both parties represented in there, but then maybe you took it as a endorsement for Hillary knowing that the majority of Republicans aren’t voting for him.

      • Trump & Friends are making racist comments EVERY day on the campaign trail for last year and you are quoting on line w/o source. Are you even listening to him? So, yes Trump and his campaign are the racists here. And there is no excuse for racist fear-mongering and stirring up prejudices against minorities. Its cheap and dumb and disqualifying. Period.

      • Joe Fiore says:

If they repeat the lie that Trump is racist enough, people start to believe it. As pathetic as it is, it’s true. The low information voter responds well to repetition even when it’s false.

        • Jim says:

          puff, puff, PASS

        • Mary says:

You have just proved the point on the low information voters for Trump, because of the lies he keeps repeating and they think it is true even when it has been proven false. Obama birth certificate, Clinton health. So are you saying Trump not renting to black people is not being racist.

          • Lucifer says:

It can also be used with Hillary’s voters: everything against Hillary is a conspiracy theory, everyone against Hillary is a racist, sexist, neanderthal bigot. Let’s not forget the wage gap, rape culture, most things to do with guns and police, etc.

So are you saying Hillary going after black youth, calling them “super predators,” and creating the prison industrial complex in the 1990s hasn’t severely damaged the black community?

          • Mary says:

@Lucifer Well 30 years and yet nothing so maybe the conspiracy theory has credence to it. If you bother to take the time to Listen to the actual works coming out of Trump and his supporters then a intelligent person can see why people claim he is sexist bigot. When people who watch a taping of a black person being shot down by a cop and it is the victims fault not that maybe we have Cops who shouldn’t be there. When we have a white college student who gets 3 months for rape and yet a black college student found guilty of the same thing gets 30 years – you don’t question that. You are either ignorant or chose not to see that there is a racial divide in this country. Look at ones company Trump keeps and you honestly feel he is not racist. You want to talk about sexist, look how he stuck up for his good old friend Roger. Look how they shouldn’t have allowed Women in the military as it is an excuse to justify rape. Talk about wage gap, Trump policies will do nothing to change that because guess what he is in the category. Never said Hillary was perfect but this man is a disgrace to the human race. He is a poor excuse for a man and obviously many of his followers are too. They get bent out of shape about being called deplorable but yet have you seen the shirts they had made up or what comes out of their mouth at these rallies. Quite obvious you believe the fool so carry on.

    • Laurel says:

Could not agree more. No matter who wins we’re screwed.

    • Sarah says:

I could not agree more. Hillary is just as bad as Trump, maybe even worse considering that Hollywood and most of the media are completely turning the other way where she is concerned and are therefore deceiving voters instead of being objective and saying like it is – BOTH are unfit and a disgrace. The whole thing is laughable. It is like telling sheep to choose the wolf instead of the bear (when they are screwed either way).

      • LK says:

No one is as bad as Trump.. no one.. Hillary will keep the status quo.. Trump will install a fascist dictatorship and make america a police state.

        • isnt that what congress is there to prevent?

          • KatsMom says:

Trump’s already made it abundantly clear that he doesn’t have a clue how the government actually works and operates. He would control the executive branch which has the power to enforce. If he doesn’t want to enforce the actions of the Court (as Andrew Jackson didn’t) or if he doesn’t want to heed Congress…what power do they actually possess in order to stop him? The Constitution is a social contract. It’s in place because of the will of the people. Trump’s followers are eagerly lapping up his unconstitutional, fascist. Do you honestly believe that they will object if he decides to ignore our sacred social contract? I don’t, given the way they applaud him for spitting all over every single clause of the First Amendment.

          • nunya bizness says:

@KatsMom Have you been paying attention for the last 8 years? All this clown has done is circumvent both the congress and the court with his ‘executive orders’ and NOW you are worried? Fascist?? Jeez look at the whitehouse now and what it would still be if that power hungry witch got in. Cripes how thick can you get.

          • Mary says:

@Nunya look up past Presidents and see who has used Executive orders more, guess what it wasn’t Obama. This Congress has not only refused to work with him, because he was only suppose to be a one term President but they have manage to shut down the Government how many times? Open you eyes people.

          • Mary says:

@nunya bizness. You’re the one who hasn’t been paying attention. The GOP controlled Congress is the one that’s forced him into doing things that way because they made a vow the moment he was elected not to cooperate. There’s video of Mitch McConnell saying that. Obama isn’t the first to use executive orders either and not nearly as many as some of his predecessors.

          • nunya bizness says:

Forced him into using executive orders? SERIOUSLY? So when a president doesn’t get his way you consider that congress is FORCING him to use executive orders. Oh my lord I can’t believe you people. He may not have used as many order as other presidents but WHAT he used them for (bypassing Congress) is a lot different from previous presidents. I love how democrats cherry pick their facts to suit their agendas. smh.

          • Mary says:

@Nunya who exactly is cherry picking to fit their agenda. Your right smh, when it is pointed out that previous Presidents have used executive orders more, you statement is yes but it wasn’t for anything of importance. You have got the double talk down pact just like Trump. Considering the CONGRESS has done nothing during his Presidency, then yes sometimes he had to make those decisions to keep the Government moving.

          • Temperance says:

They’ve been bought by the oligarchs.

        • Robin says:

. A system of government marked by centralization of authority under a dictator, a capitalist economy subject to stringent governmental controls, violent suppression of the opposition, and typically a policy of belligerent nationalism and racism.
          1) under Obama we have already seen the fascist controls infiltrating our economy in the form of stringent regulations (governmental control) in our financial, educational and health systems, etc, yet our own government can’t be held to the same standards of accountability?
          2) Obama already has started the process to nationalize our police force by offering free militaristic equipment to local police agencies and having federal agents come in and provide oversight in local police agencies
          3) racism continues to be fueled under his administration by “omission”…meaning, he has done nothing to address the problem rather he fuels the fire by his “lack of leadership” which is actually part of the agenda to stir up racial discourse and so he does nothing to squelch it or provide solutions on how to come together. Often racism is inter used whe terms like Citizenship or religious belief or sexual preference is actually the topic, but racism and calling people racist is more incendiary and gets people’s focused pulled in the wrong direction.
          4) nationalism- well, that wouldn’t fit Obamma’s agenda because he pushes for agendas that support a one world government, so if Trump wants to stop our tax dollars from going to bogus international aid agencies and the UN and secure our borders by enforcing our current laws, then I guess yes, he pushes a National Agenda. Btw, stopping that flow of our money would allowed him to cut taxes. The middle class are the true losers under our current tax law and who cares if loop holes stay? I’d rather keep loop holes if the government quits sending money to agencies and funds that do nothing but line the pockets of politicians and buy political appointments and favors…and start bogus wars and fund ISIS.
          5) Obama created the CFPB which is a governmental agency headed by a single director who holds all power on decisions. Unlike previously created governmental agencies, there is not an executive board to balance power. This means he has the sole say on fines and enforcement. The agency is not funded by the government, rather it is funded by the amount of fines it can collect from businesses without clear and explicit rules for the businesses to understand what constitutes violations and will result in fines. There have been hearings and lawsuits against the structure of the CFPB as it is unconstitutional having given one man all the power (dictator extraordinaire)
So the question is, who is truly governing in the spirit of fascism?
There are more examples but I don’t have time to list them all out.

        • Joe Fiore says:

Hillary is worse than Trump. I hate them both but Trump gets my vote. He’s the better of the two (even though that isn’t saying much)

          • Mary says:

Well that is what is great about America, even though Trump claims that we aren’t, is the freedom to choose and unfortunately have to face the consequences of ours and others actions. Hillary gets my vote for the simple reason, Trump is clueless about what it takes to run a Country, heck I don’t think he is that great at running a business when you screw over the every day man earning a living. A true Presidential Candidate does not act like a two year old when someone disagrees with him. He does not discriminate and make derogatory remarks about a group of people. Trump is too self center and thin skin to be able to handle any type of criticism. I know many, Trump included, cannot stand Obama, but he should strive to be at least 1/2 the man he is. He has tolerated the hate racist remarks with dignity and class, something Trump has not exhibit in the least. I know his wife likes Michelle, stealing her speech and all, maybe Trump should try the motto when they go low we go high and prove that is is a somewhat intelligent human being.

      • David says:

No, Hillary is not as bad as Trump. You can hate Hillary, that’s fine. But to say she would be just as bad as Trump in the White House is ludicrous.

She is, beyond all doubt, as bad as Trump. Period.

    • Jerri says:

At this point it’s about selecting the lesser of two evils.

      • Sarah says:

There is a third option. Unfortunately, actors and journalists are too far up Hillary’s behind to make videos like this for him instead of the lesser evil (if that is even accurate) and with the exposure/free publicity giving Gary at least a slight chance to win.

        • Marguerite says:

Seriously, Gary? He didn’t even know there was a bombing in NYC. He’s as uninformed as many voters are.

        • Mary says:

Gary has some good points but sorry not qualify – his lack of knowledge on foreign affairs is scary. Like it or not there is only two options unless you don’t care if your vote is wasted, which a vote for a third party will be. I am voting for SJ seat and there is no way I want Trump or a man like Pence to have a say. In my opinion if these third party candidates are really truly interested then they need to start at the local level and work their way up. Them jumping in for the highest office is nothing more than a power play to take away votes from a party.

      • Lola says:

Yes. That’s exactly how I feel.

        • John036 says:

It really irks me that people compare Trump to Hitler. Trump isn’t the most outstanding candidate we’ve had (but lets be honest, is Hillary any better because I don’t think so), but to compare him to a man who MURDERED Jews, gays, the disabled people, and others victims of the Holocaust is low. Do I agree with Trump’s immigration plan? To some extents, no. But is Trump on “the level with Hitler”? Absolutely not.

          • Gern Blanston says:

I think, or at least am hoping, that the comparison to Hitler has more to do with the way that Hitler went about getting the power to do the things that he did. I think that if restricted to that its a fairly accurate comparison. A lot of fear mongering about how all of the country’s problems are caused by outsiders. A lot of talk about how only they alone can restore the country to its former glory. A lot of talk about purging outsiders from the country’s borders. A lot of outright lies that his supporters want to be true so they look the other way, but are not backed up by any kind of facts.

          • jim says:

Hillary much more like Hitler. Go against her or her regime she will kill you (or you’ll commit suicide).

          • Gern Blanston says:

And here’s a perfect example of a lie that Trump supporters want to be true and believe it without any shred of evidence to support it.

    • sarah t says:

Agree! I get so sick of Hollywood trying to shove their liberal agenda down everyone’s throat.

      • Mary says:

You mean equal rights for all Americans not a select few. Yes I can see that being frustrating for the Right because they don’t turn their heads at the injustices of the world.

    • DL says:

Only one side is espousing authoritarian policies that go against the fundamental decency of American values. Think what you will about Hillary Clinton, but to somehow put her on the same level of dishonesty as Trump and the right is, as our current Veep puts it, a “bunch of malarkey.”
It’s Republicans who want to keep flooding our streets with guns, while outright lying that Democrats want to repeal the 2nd Amendment to rile up panic and anger. It’s Republicans who are demonizing Syrian refugees even though the NY bomber and the Orlando shooter were both U.S. citizens, and Syrian refugees already undergo a comprehensive 2-year vetting process (and none have ever committed crimes in the U.S., exactly because our refugee vetting is much better than the E.U.’s). It’s Republicans who want to keep giving tax breaks to millionaires and billionaires, supporting the same failed trickle-down economics of George W. Bush that crashed our economy in the first place.
Tell me, why do more than 60% of Trump supporters still believe President Obama is a Muslim? The Republican party has actively supported FOX News and the alt-right’s attempts to poison the minds of their constituents. They don’t live in a fact-based reality, but a reality of “gut intelligence” that’s wreaked havoc on our ability to have real political discourse based on simple, objective truths. Just look at how Republican spokespersons are actively propagating Trump’s most recent and outrageous lie that Hillary started bitherism (she didn’t)! The facts don’t seem to matter. According to Politifact and The Washington Post, nearly 90% of Donald Trump’s statements are mostly or completely false — that is, lies. That’s versus under 30% for Clinton.
Really, the facts should speak for themselves. The Clinton Foundation is a charity. The Trump Foundation bribed a Florida State’s Attorney. Hillary Clinton never pushed any legislation or did any favors for any Clinton Foundation donors — taking a phone call or a meeting is meaningless, and Republicans have argued as much when their own party members have been under fire for the same issues. Meanwhile, prosecutor Pam Bondi dropped an investigation against Trump after he donated $25,000 to her Super PAC. That’s pay-for-play, right there. The Clinton Foundation has provided millions of dollars of life-saving drugs and aid to people around the world, and their financial books are a matter of public record if any right-wing amateur conspiracy theorists would actually take a look (the Clintons receive zero money from it). The Trump Foundation, conversely, supposedly donates to veteran’s groups and other charities, but journalists have been unable to find much proof of this, only that Trump likes giving away other people’s money, because he hasn’t actually put a cent of his own capital into it in almost ten years. He even used charity money to pay legal fees for his businesses! That’s illegal, and it’s called “self dealing.”
So before you keep saying Hillary and Trump are the same, do some research, look at the actual facts, and then make a real determination. Republicans have been trashing Clinton for decades, and if you actually want the truth about her, you have to care enough to look past the malarkey to the actual facts.

Wow your facts against Trump are good , however your Facts for Hillary are Crap! I have written a long response to this on another post. But for Instance, Changing policy for the Kremlin to buy our Uranium Mines is not pay to play? “New York Times: Hillary Clinton’s Campaign Claims She Had No Idea Her State Dept. Was Considering Approving the Transfer of 20% of U.S. Uranium to the Russian Govt.—Even as the Clinton Foundation Bagged $145 Million in Donations from Investors in the Deal ” And your comparing a 25k US donation to that? That blows my mind. It’s well documented accepting Foreign donations is ILLEGAL PERIOD! The Constitution of the United States says you cannot take money from foreign governments without explicit permission of the Congress. The Clinton Foundation failed to reveal the identities of its 1,100 donors, creating a broad exception to the foundation’s promise to disclose funding sources as part of an ethics agreement with the Obama administration, Under Clinton’s leadership, the State Department approved $165 billion worth of commercial arms sales to 20 nations whose governments have given money to the Clinton Foundation , (She claimed to have no knowledge of any transfers of weapons from Libya to Turkey, Syria, or any other countries.)Wikileaks links her directly to ISIS. Why don’t you talk WACO, where Hillary ordered the Murder , (BURNED ALIVE)of 76 men , pregnant women and CHILDREN, on,” False accusation and lies of ,”Child molestation and weapons of mass destruction ” Sound Familiar? I wouldnt want her saving my children. Oh and all of 3 out of 4 ATF agents whom where killed just happen to work on Bill Clintons campaign. This isn’t about Trump this is about Hilliard discusting past, present. I have been following this since I was in school and ha c email written and kept news articles from their crimes. And the funny thing is you don’t even realize the irony of calling these people, who may be famous but are just as entitled as you are of having and sharing an opinion, “uneducated and uninformed.”

    • Cas says:

How do you know they are uninformed?

    • Mary says:

Just because they don’t agree with you doesn’t make them uninformed. Funny thing is they probably know and understand Politics more than most everyday Americans who vote. Don’t you think it is judgemental to think that because someone has money they can’t see and comprehend what is going on in the world. Seriously.

    • liame says:

Who’s silly and stuck in a funk? Why do (some) people always assume other people are uneducated because they don’t agree with their way of thinking? No one can take away your vote so vote for whom you think will do the best for this Country.

    • KatsMom says:

Those rich, famous people would actually benefit if Trump were elected…assuming he sticks to his (latest) proposed tax plan. They’re opting instead to take a position against their own self-interest. That’s something that might change more open minds.

    • M says:

Just as an fyi, the higher the education level the greater the likelihood to vote Democrat especially in this election. Clinton wins by 25 points with college-educated voters. The uneducated and uninformed tend to vote for Trump (he leads 4-1 for white men without any degrees).

    • Temperance says:

So the fact that you think they are ‘uneducated’ and ‘uninformed’ and ‘celebrities’ somehow makes the ineligible? You defined Donald Trump! You know – the (vile) candidate. If he can run, they can talk. They are, after all, American citizens just like the rest of us. If money disqualified you from speaking politically, there wouldn’t be a Republican in government.

They are right both sides need to get out and vote.

    • Steven says:

Do you really think the Millionaire is going to cut tax loopholes for the rich? Really?

That aside, the shear amount of lies the man has told, the shortsightedness he shows with many of his remarks and the hatred he puts out into the world… it’s scary!
The message isn’t that Clinton is a better choice, it’s that Trump is so bad, basicly any other choice would be better. As someone who does live in the US, I truely hope a country that prides itself on freedom and equality doesn’t elect a hatemonger.

    • Cas says:

Lol. I think you may be a bit delusional if you think Trump is going to cut tax loopholes. Haha.

    • Mary says:

Wow do you really believe that? Think of the reason he really won’t show his tax returns, believe me it is not because of an audit. Trump has used those tax loopholes to his benefits. He has used bankruptcy laws to his benefit, not once but 4 times. It is sad when one does not really comprehend and follows blindly.

    • KatsMom says:

What the hell are you talking about? Trump’s entire tax plan is to explode the deficit by lowering the tax rates. Even if he were to close a few loopholes in the process (which is a huge, unfounded assumption as several other commenters have pointed out. Trump’s spent his entire life boasting about how he pays as little in taxes as possible), these rich folk would undoubtedly still come out ahead. (I say this as someone who has actually looked at his tax plan closely and will admit to being tempted because the lowering of those top rates would save me quite a bit of money every year…)

A person who comports themself with dignity and respect is deserving, not someone who is sadisticly self-righteous nor even a boorish pathological liar. Voting this year, regardless of who you vote for, is the only option.

Gary Johnson supports completely eliminating corporate income taxes. He supports new coal and nuclear energy plants. He supports potentially ending the Federal Reserve. He supports the TPP. He supports repealing Obamacare and making healthcare strictly private. He opposed the Iran nuclear deal. He neither knows where Aleppo is nor where it is. Even though he states he’s open to gun control, he doesn’t believe in limiting the types or sizes of guns private citizens own. He believes in school vouchers rather than improving the quality of low-performing schools. He opposes funding for stem cell research. He supports private, for-profit prisons.
In short, Gary Johnson is a terrible candidate.

  19. Bringing politics into this ruins these actors ability to entertain. If I cannot escape because all I can think of is your political stance, then it is ruined for me. Leave politics out of it.

The Republicans have never had a candidate that appealed so obviously and purposefully to white supremacists. He is not Republican, he is an alt-right hater of almost everyone not like himself. He cannot be made to seem like a normal person or Republican candidate. He is not.

Vote for Hillary Clinton and end this madness of trying to legitimize Trump, a white supremacist.

This will only re-affirm their believes and re-invigorate their efforts.

    • Mary says:

You think Trump can be trusted when it has been proven he lies more than any other Candidate. I can see that his talking points has worked on you regarding illegals and terrorist. I hate to hurt you false sense of security but even if Trump gets out every illegal immigrant you still won’t be safe. You do realize that many of these attacks are caused by American Citizens. Have you forgotten about Roof, Tim McVeigh, Adam Lanza
the list goes on. No the one who can’t be trusted is the man behind the curtain who is totally clueless. We do need change but until people stop re-electing these old fools back into Congress it never will happen. If other countries know what damage Trump being president would do to the world and especially the US , it’s a no brainer who you should vote. You don’t have to like Hillary Clinton, but consider who the other candidate is before you decide not to vote or to vote someone else out of protest . By the way in my country, we say that people who don’t act on their right to vote have lost their right to talk about politics.

  25. Gabby says:

Sorry, Hollywood. No sane, thinking person is buying what your selling. Hillary Clinton is going to lose this election, and lose badly. Deep down, you know it’s true. Hence, videos like this.

    • Mary says:

Well I guess time will tell. Take Clinton out of the picture and no sane human being would elect a Man like him. If you actually listen to what comes out of his mouth and think he is Presidential material then I would say take a good hard look at yourself in the mirror.

      • Joey says:

I fully believe had Sanders won the nomination, it would be a runaway victory for him right now. Same goes if the nominee had been someone like Elizabeth Warren or Sherrod Brown.

  26. Yes. Make the difference. Register and vote Libertarian

  27. datdudemurphy says:

It’s funny….I’ll give it that. Wouldn’t expect anything less from the people who made it.

However, I’m pretty tired of people telling me how to vote.
I’m pretty tired of celebrities holding sway over votes.

Can we actually have an election where people vote based on issues and things that actually matter? Get rid of the mascots. Voting for Team Elephant and Team Donkey hasn’t really done anyone any good.
Honestly, I think the people who made the video realize that.

They never name drop Trump, but they certainly advise you not to vote for him
However, they never tell you to vote for HRC either.
Your vote is important. Find someone you can vote FOR…not just someone you feel you have to vote against.

Look into 3rd parties, they may not win….but they will send the message to the DNC and the RNC that what they are doing is not what you want. Maybe it will inspire real change.

TLDR : Vote FOR someone, not just against someone else.

    • 88Aladdin says:

Probably the smartest comment here. If people are only voting against someone they are missing the point entirely. That just ensures that we get one of two of the same, terrible choices.

    • Ridiculous says:

We demonize Hollywood types for expressing their views, but what about the Koch brothers and Sheldon Adelson for dumping literally hundreds of millions of dollars on elections. Hollywood is a drop in the bucket to what the billionaires are doing to our democracy, but you have to love the outrage over a single internet video and a million dollar donation.

      • datdudemurphy says:

I wish there was a way to remove money from the entire process. I really don’t think our political system should be about who has the biggest donations, or the wealthiest backers.

  28. Wyngate says:

Seriously, show his “dick.” Seriously? I was buying into it till that point.
I am ashamed of all of them, great actors, doing a video like this.
Nothing funny about the upcoming election.
And each time I see any of them in a film again,
all I will remember is what they just did.

  29. Alec says:

I’d never vote for Trump anyway. I have females, African-Americans, latinos, LGBTQs and people with disabilities as friends. I’d never vote for such a monster who has offended every single one of my friends and family members. I’m with her.

    • SJP says:

Well-Spoken and accurate. Anyone who knows Trump, for who he really is, and is not misled by just getting their “facts” from Fox News, and is not a “Party Voter” can see you ring true.

  30. Just me says:

How many videos does TVLine need to pay the bills? I can’t read the comments because every 30 seconds the page jumps back the the Connatix video!!!!!!!!!!!

  31. Mr. Curmudgeon says:

Both candidates (Hollery and Tramp) suck. It’s too bad our primary electorate couldn’t come up with better options. Celebrity doesn’t make any of these opinions any more valid, for either candidate.

  32. Weezy says:

I don’t know where to start. Actually I give up. I’m tired of being called things that are completely inaccurate. I’m tired of living in a world with delusional mental midgets who wouldn’t know anything approaching truth or reality if it punched them in the face. I’m tired of trying to save a bunch of ungrateful whiny babies who just make crap up without any evidence from themselves and our common enemy. Go ahead and keep falling for the globalist propaganda and nonsense. Go ahead and ignore all evidence, logic, and common sense in favor of subjective name calling with no real proof. Go ahead and keep being manipulated by 2nd grade level programming and completely illogical mind reading “ism” nonsense. Keep playing the victim while our masters continue to enslave us more mentally and physically every single day. But when hell on Earth arrives, I don’t want to hear any bitching from you fools who can’t recognize they are acting like 1930’s Germans right now and walking off the cliff. Seriously I want you all to shut your mouths when you get what’s coming to us all if we don’t reclaim our minds.

  33. Jennifer says:

Well, will TV line be giving time to Trump supporter’s spewing how unqualified Clinton is? Fair is fair. trump is horrible, but so is clinton. This site is a television site – not a political forum. This does not belong here.

    • Katherine215 says:

Why exactly does bigotry deserve equal representation? Oh, right, it doesn’t.
And to be factually accurate, Clinton is extraordinarily qualified for office. Senator and SoS terms make that so, regardless of everything else she’s done in 40+ years of public service. Those are facts, not opinions. She’s more than qualified.
This is a video done by TV actors. I’m unclear how this isn’t TV related.

  34. JBC says:

We, as Americans, rich & poor all have a right to speak our opinions. The only thing that bothers me is that Hollywood has such a great access to media & influence but most working class average citizens do not. Thousands who go to the Candidates rallies want to hear from the candidates & or support them. . To me it just seems that these attempts by Hollywood to help out their specific candidate is a bit condescending to the general average Americans out here, like we are too stupid to cast an educated vote. In a way it just shows their “elite” mindset which they of course have a right to. They can also give way more than average Americans in finances. No matter what no matter who wins this election we are a strong nation and will survive. God Bless America!

  35. IRON WILL says:

To paraphrase ‘Star Wars’: “The more the tighten your grip the more voters will slip through your fingers!”

  36. K says:

It’s hilarious when people complain about successful actors getting involved in politics, while supporting a billionaire (?) reality TV star for President.

What’s not hilarious are the consequences a Trump presidency could have for America and the world. Hate Hillary Clinton all you want, but at least I’m sure she wouldn’t start a war just because someone made fun of her and she doesn’t believe climate change is a Chinese hoax. I can’t say the same about Trump. And to everyone thinking about voting 3rd party or not at all, please consider that that won’t change the fact that either Clinton or Trump will become President, no matter how much you might hate that thought. Please look up the differences between them on the issues most important to you and make sure you won’t end up regretting your vote. If you think Trump and Clinton are equally bad, you really should get more informed.

  37. Karen says:

Would anyone watch this video if these were all “regular” people instead of celebrities? Probably not. They are using their fame to spread a message that they are passionate about. I don’t see a problem with that.

    • lindag413 says:

The Americans in the video are Americans and just because they are entertainers does not take their right to voice their opinion, I for one am impressed that Nathan took a stand I know he is Canadian but he does not usually do this kind of stand.
Using your celebrity to get people to vote is not a bad thing. And speaking of celebs Mr Trump is a reality show performer running for President😳😝🙈

  38. texmike says:

When will so called celebrities realize that no intelligent person cares what they think? Their job is to entertain us.

    • reg says:

Exactly. I feel like Joss Whedon should worry about making better entertainment than who is going to win the next election. Age of Ultron anyone? Dollhouse?

  39. Rod says:

    Tom Lenk FTW! Really!

  40. Shawn Foran says:

There are people in this video who would be breaking the law if they voted because they are not American

    • M says:

You do know Americans come in colors other than white, right?

      • nunya bizness says:

You do know they were referring to the canadian actors right? Guess you are voting for shrillary right?

      • Ken says:

@M And, you do know that illegal aliens are breaking the law by being in this country, right? And, a border protects our sovereignty, right? Or, is carrying about our countries right to a sovereign nation, racist? Perhaps we should let everyone in, right? Just open the borders to everyone, right? And, let every ship filled with people who want to come here flood our harbors, right? Oh no, that doesn’t count…..not ships. Just the southern border counts. Just Latinos can come in without repercussions, right? Now THAT’S RACIST against everyone else, right? Moron.

        • Katherine215 says:

Well, someone somewhere let you (or your ancestors) in, so we haven’t had high standards for very long. Maybe we should have closed them before your boat got here.
Anyway, thanks for proving M’s point with that rhetoric.

  41. How good is this ad ?
Look at all the Troll comments on it both here and on YouTube.
The minions of that “racist, abusive COWARD” know their side has NOTHING positive to offer so all they can do is scream their lies and hatred.

  42. Elizabeth Brennan says:

He pulled in Whedonverse actors. NPH – Dr. Horrible. Cobie Smulders – Avengers. Jesse Williams – Cabin in the Woods. Maybe it’s just me, but those are what I think of when I think of them, not Grey’s or HIMYM

  43. E.C. says:

Who is the actor at the very end of the movie? I forget her name.

  44. nunya bizness says:

Typical of the liberal rich hollywood crowd. They want to look all compassionate but they make sure they have the money and protection from the unwashed masses they claim to love. What a bunch of disgusting hypocrites. I guess there are a bunch of shows I can now delete from my dvr list to record.

    • SJP says:

I feel that is a very illogical comment. I mean, really, why should they have less say than any other American citizen? Because they act? Show us stories to take us out of the hell that reality can be? Give us an escape when life can drop some terrible bombs on us? I, for one, work a job that can do such things. Many of us do. Either way we are all working and trying to make a living. I make money by manufacturing things that save lives, Actors make money by entertaining and giving some these stories of enjoyment. Sometimes, even, they save lives by doing just that.

They are workers, just like us. Do I hold the fact that they make so much more money than me against them? No. So if that does not upset me why would them using their right to the first Amendment upset me? I feel like I have a right to it. I am an American citizen. They have the same rights as me, especially when it comes to the Constitution…which is supposed to be a right for every one of us. Honestly, if you watched them before, watched them and their projection of story, why stop doing so just because they do not agree with you? Would that not make you a hypocrite? I know what an extremist is, and I know I am not one for either side. You, however, it is definitely clear to me, are indeed one. You insulted wealthy entertainers while you are obviously supporting a wealthy entertainer. That is your right and, while I will not try to sway you from such a bad choice, I will suggest that maybe take a really good look inward before attacking others who wish to exercise their freedom.

  45. Angela says:

If you think this country will be any better with Hillary Clinton at the helm you are absolutely kidding yourself.
She is pro fracking and will turn this country inside out and poison it in more ways than one.
    I just registered to vote.
I am not voting for either one of who is significantly featured on the news.
There is a third-party candidate and she’s getting my vote because *I* really do give a damn about this country AND the people that live and breathe in it.
I’m sorry…Mark Ruffalo is cute and all but he hardly quantifies my interest in seeing him *full monty* for a Clinton Presidency.

    • Joey says:

Honestly I would love if Jill Stein was our next President, but being single digit in the polls this late in the season is a death sentence for her candidacy.

  46. The only thing more terrifying than Trump si a bunch of Hollywood elites pushing liberal agendas.

    • Ellie B. says:

That has to be the stupidest thing I’ve seen today. People, please go to all candidates websites, watch their speeches and press conferences, not just the 3 second clips the media picks and chooses to show you to try to control your opinion. Joss Whedon is an overrated hack. Anyone who looks for political advice from Hollywood is an idiot.

  47. Christy says:

LOLOLOLOLOLOL This was amazing. Thank you for sharing it.

  48. Babygate says:

I won’t watch the video because I don’t want my opinion of these actors to change. Hollywood lives in its own universe isolated from the rest of the country. They are utterly incapable of seeing outside of their own walls. And the hypocrisy is astonishing. Hollywood continues to be exposed as a racist, misogynistic empire where many gays are still afraid to come out, and yet they have the gull to lecture the rest of us. I think Trump is vile. But if you pay attention, you’ll know he’s a populist who can at least be managed. Hillary is brilliant but she has been driven by blind ambition for years and nothing she tried to accomplish as Secretary of State actually worked. They are both the worst, but the race is almost dead even which tells you that millions of people reject the message these ‘stars’ are putting out. Yet they act as though Trump supporters are some crazy outliers living out on a hill somewhere and no one sane would vote for him. Millions of people are voting for him. That’s not a small group that you can credibly discredit or sweep aside. Stop treating them like crazies and maybe you’ll have a chance at getting through to them. The more you antagonize Trump voters, the more resolved they become.

  49. D Webb says:

Amazing to me that they think anyone cares about their political views. Just do what you are paid for, to entertain. Neither candidate is the optimal choice but this is what we have to chose from.

How come no one in Hollywood makes a PSA about all of Hillary’s lies? She has served this country poorly while Trump has not served this country at all.

Me personally, I would rather give a business man a chance to see what he can do with this country instead of repeating the same thing with another lying politician.

    • Katherine215 says:

Given his “business” history, I’m pretty sure he’d bankrupt us several times and fail to pay our bills because he doesn’t feel like it. Good choice!

  50. Sally Mander says:

I’d feel better if half of these people weren’t Canadian.
