Brooklyn Nine-Nine Ken Marino

Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 4: Meet 'Captain' Ken Marino — Fall First Look

Someone gave Vinnie Van Lowe a badge — and we now have the evidence to prove it.

As previously reported, Ken Marino — aka Veronica Mars‘ morally flexible detective-turned-iPad hacker — is joining Brooklyn Nine-Nine for a two-episode arc as the precinct’s new Captain.

And from the looks of the exclusive image above, Holt’s successor is not taking his promotion all that seriously. Turns out Marino’s alter ego, C.J., stumbled into his high position by luck and doesn’t really believe in imposing order or enforcing rules — which suits the squad just fine (save for Amy, natch).

Look for Marino to make his Nine-Nine debut in the Season 4 premiere on Tuesday, Sept. 20.

I’m just hoping for some nods to Wet Hot American Summer between Ken and Joe Lo Truglio-That would be delightful!
