There’s no easy way to say this: What happens in the second episode of Netflix’s Luke Cage (arriving Sept. 30) is going to be hard to watch. But you should keep tuning in, anyway.
“It was what was necessary to get this series into forward action mode,” leading man Mike Colter told Michael Ausiello when Team Luke dropped by TVLine’s Comic-Con studio presented by ZTE. “There were events that needed to happen to make [the reluctant superhero] see that he couldn’t just sit back and do nothing.”
Certainly not with villains like Mahershala Ali’s Cottonmouth casting a shadow over Harlem. However, as bad as the shifty character may be, “he’s gonna be human,” his portrayer promises.
Also included in the Q&A is whom Alfre Woodard (Mariah) thinks would emerge victorious in a Jessica Jones/Misty Knight faceoff, plus the identity of the fifth Defender.
