TVLine Items: GH Adds AMC Vet, Dead Prince Cast on The Royals and More

James Patrick Stuart is returning to daytime TV.

The former All My Children star has joined ABC’s General Hospital and is set to debut as early as July, Soap Opera Digest reports, though no character info has been disclosed as of yet.

Patrick Stuart last appeared on the now-defunct AMC as Will Cortlandt in 1992, and has since then kept busy with guest spots on myriad shows including The Closer, How to Get Away With Murder, 2 Broke Girls and Rosewood.

* Max Brown (The Tudors) has been cast as on E!’s The Royals as Prince Robert, who was presumably dead after a plane crash in the first season, our sister site Deadline reports.
