The Blues Brothers are on a new God-given mission — and this one’s animated.
Bento Box Entertainment — the studio behind Bob’s Burgers — announced Tuesday that it will develop and produce a primetime cartoon series based on Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi’s SNL characters-turned-real-life band.
The project chronicles the music, mayhem and comedy adventures of Jake and Elwood Blues, along with the characters within their band. The Blues Brothers will be shopped to networks later this month.
