Bravo’s newest leading lady is not to be trusted.
The network has given a 10-episode series order to My So Called Wife, a dark comedy about a con woman named Maggie (Gang Related‘s Inbar Lavi) who tricks men and women into marriage before making off with their money, TVLine has learned.
But just when Maggie thinks she’s found the perfect next target (Being Mary Jane‘s Stephen Bishop), two of her exes (Enlisted‘s Parker Young and British actor Rob Heaps) decide to team up and track her down.
Paul Adelstein (Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce) and Adam Brooks (Mozart in the Jungle) are on board to executive-produce My So Called Wife — which, to be clear, is only the working title — with Brooks also directing the pilot.
