Mr Robot Season 2

Mr. Robot Season 2 Promotes Two Series Regulars, Adds Recurring Cast

Tyrell Wellick’s wicked missus and the Evil Corp. CEO promise to loom large during Season 2 of Mr. Robot.

The acclaimed USA Network drama has promoted Stephanie Corneliussen (who recently guested on Legends of Tomorrow) and Michael Cristofer to series regular status for the sophomore run, as Joanna Wellick and Phillip Price. They join the previously announced Grace Gummer, who will be playing an FBI agent investigating the Evil Corp. hack.

Additionally, the rapper Joey Bada$$ and relative newcomer Chris Conroy have landed recurring roles, playing a neighborhood friend of Elliot’s and a new man in Joanna’s life, respectively.

In addition to returning series regulars Rami Malek, Christian Slater, Portia Doubleday and Carly Chaikin, Ben Rappaport and Tom Riis Farrell are set to reprise their Season 1 roles as Ollie and Bill.

  1. Tim says:

She was excellent! The supporting players are the best part of this show.

  2. Kate says:

Um, how about Tyrell himself? We don’t know what happened to him yet!

  3. Couch Mom says:

I watched all 10 eps from Season 1 on demand and I was just blown away by how great the writing was. Joanna was just as evil as Evil Corp. If Chris Conroy is playing a new man in Joanna’s life, then Tyrell may be dead. He was a great character too. Glad this show is coming back.

  4. Ro says:

    What about BD Wong?

  5. Will says:

Meh.. didn’t particularly care for her character. Also, her recent guest stint on The CW’s DC’s Legends of Tomorrow didn’t help (super campy performance IMO).

  6. Weezy says:

This is my favorite show on TV. I’m glad to see these characters get upped to regulars as I enjoyed them both during the first season. Not a big fan of the Grace Gummer casting but perhaps she will surprise me. I can’t imagine her being cast in the show if she wasn’t going to nail it. The series creator seems to know exactly what he wants…
