TVLine Items: The Americans Trailer, Rocky Horror Casts Magenta and More

A word of warning: The latest trailer for The Americans‘ fourth season is so intense, it will make Season 3 look like a feel-good sitcom in comparison.

In the newly released teaser, Philip and Elizabeth encounter a slew of obstacles in just 30 seconds, including the inevitable fallout with Paige, who now knows their real identities (and seems very tempted to do something with that information).

Season 4 premieres Wednesday, March 16, at 10/9c on FX.

Ready for more of today’s newsy nuggets? Well…

* Fox announced Wednesday that it has cast Christina Milian (Grandfathered) in its upcoming reimagining of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. She will play Magenta, the castle’s compliant maid who, along with her brother, Riff Raff (Penny Dreadful‘s Reeve Carney), plots a secret plan to return to their native planet of Transsexual.

* The cast of Broadway’s Hamilton will perform from New York City during the 58th Annual Grammy Awards (Feb. 15, 8/7c, CBS), marking the eighth time in history that musical theater has been featured during the broadcast.

* Veteran actress Isabella Rossellini has been cast in Shut Eye, Hulu’s upcoming dark comedy about the underground world of Los Angeles storefront psychics and the organized crime syndicate that runs them. In the series — which stars Burn Notice‘s Jeffrey Donovan and Private Practice‘s KaDee Strickland — Rossellini will play Rita, the beautiful and sadistic matriarch of said syndicate, Deadline reports.

* Julie Claire, who recurred on both Devious Maids and Bloodline in 2015, will reprise both roles later this year. According to TheWrap, Claire will return to Devious Maids as Evelyn’s friend Gail, and to Bloodline as Susannah, one of Alec’s (Steven Pasquale) co-workers.

Comments are monitored, so don’t go off topic, don’t frakkin’ curse and don’t bore us with how much your coworker’s sister-in-law makes per hour. Talk smart about TV!
