Incorporated on Syfy

Futuristic Thriller Incorporated Starring Reign's Sean Teale Greenlit at Syfy

Syfy has handed a 13-episode series order to Incorporated, a futuristic thriller produced by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck and starring Reign actor Sean Teale, TVLine has learned.

Set in a near future where corporations have unlimited power, the drama centers around Teale’s Ben Larson, a young executive who conceals his true identity to infiltrate a very dangerous corporate world to save the woman he loves. But he’ll soon learn that he’s not the only one whose secrets may have deadly consequences.

The cast also includes Dennis Haysbert (24), Julia Ormond (Mad Men) and Eddie Ramos (Teen Wolf). Fringe grad Georgina Haig, who was set to play the female lead, has exited the project.

Ted Humphrey (The Good Wife) will serve as showrunner.

Incorporated is slated to debut on Syfy in Fall 2016.

I liked the “corporations control the future” concept that was the underlying premise of Continuum, but it really took a back seat to the time travel and cops-vs.-terrorists stuff. Sounds like this show will get the chance to explore that kind of world a bit more.

  2. Mak says:

    Great concept…hope it’s executed well.
Also liked Sean in Reign & Skins..

Um, they’ve been running commercials for the premiere of this show for at least two weeks – so – um – wasn’t it green lit a while ago? Being current is nice.

Why did Georgina Haig leave the show? I was mainly going to watch this because I liked her in Fringe and would have liked seeing her play the lead in a Sci Fi show.
